Bayh congratulates Clinton
Washington (CNN)– Sen. Evan Bayh took time out of the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Afghanistan Wednesday to congratulate Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on her daughter's recent engagement.
"I haven't had a chance to see you since the news about your daughter was announced. Congratulations," Bayh said.
Earlier this week CNN confirmed Chelsea Clinton is engaged to longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.
I was sad when I heard this news, it brought a tear to my eye. Let alone I never knew she had a longtime boyfriend, good for her.
Good for the family, she seems like a nice girl and a cherishable one too. The Clintons are smart people, they are. At least they nurtured her very well.
That's really nice, but hardly think it is news worthy. Just makes us wish Hillary was president instead of the naive campaigner in chief that we got. She would have answered the telephone long ago.
Aaaaawww, isn't that nice. I like Evan Bayh. Nice mid-western manners. Maybe Reid and Pelosi could take some lessons from him?!!
Why is this news? In the whole great scheme of things, who cares?
How stupid . . . taking the time of the American people . . . where do these dorks come from . . . and how come we allow these people to be in Congress.
Chelsea Clinton has turned out to be a wonderfully intelligent, independent, confident, compassionate and beautiful First daughter.
The Clintons have done an awesome job of raising their daughter.

nice but this guy is a real jerk – he and his wife are owned by the insurance industry – he, in no way, cares about his constituents.
