Millions of White House e-mails recovered

Washington (CNN) - Computer technicians have recovered about 22 million Bush administration e-mails that the Bush White House had said were missing, two watchdog groups that sued over the documents announced Monday.
The e-mails date from 2003 to 2005, and had been "mislabeled and effectively lost," according to the National Security Archive, a research group based at George Washington University. But Melanie Sloan, executive director of the liberal-leaning Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), said it could be years before most of the e-mails are made public.
"The e-mails themselves are not what we're getting," Sloan said.

If it's the WH's perogative to fire a federal attorney, then so what?
I wonder if this will result in Iraq-Gate where it is shown that the cases for invading, destroying, rebuilding and occupying Iraq were as false as we thought back in 2003. Can't wait to see what comes of this. Still can't believe this country fell for Bush's weak lies and fear mongering. Well, it was mostly conservatives who believed him...but sadly not many of them signed up to fight the Bush wars...so we had to hire rapist mercenaries.

Well maybe now we will see the dirty deeds done by the Bush/Cheney administration.........what liers, they new were the emails were all the time, they tried to hide them.........I hope they find some real good stuff that can put Cheney in jail for a long time........
Any good IT person (and even me, who knows just a little about computer emails – they were sent over servers and the messages are retained at soo many levels) KNOWS that the emails are never lost. I cannot wait for them all to be found!! And then for BUSH, CHENEY, RUMSFELD, ROVE & WOLFIE to go to JAIL~~

It's going to be very interesting to see how email should be the basis of denying climate change, yet these email are "taken out of context," or perhaps "are just a liberal media lie."
If Bush and Cheney were so evil and powerful then why didn't they just erase these e-mails? Oh nevermind, why try and even have a rational discussion......

Yet another thing Republicans messed up and now Democrats have to repair. That's starting to look like standard Republican operating procedure: foul everything up, wait for a Democrat to fix it, and then complain about how he does it.
That's assuming that Republicans didn't try to delete all those e-mails on purpose to hide things, o' course... in which case, they didn't even manage to do *that* right, either! Fail, fail, fail.
Stupid Republicans. I heard the "mislabeled" files were moved from the "DOJ Hatchet Job Coverup" directory to another already established directory "IRAQ WMDs" which had lots more disk space than they anticipated.
Of course it's more Blame Bush.

can't wait till obama is gone and all his e-mail dirty laundry is aired in the public domain, most of the bush people much like in years to come, the obama administration should be jailed for the way the ran America into the ground.

Nothing will happen to those emails, because the GOP is going to start whining about how the current Administration is going to jeapordize the country and our security. I did not realize how scandalous our government is untl the last couple of years.
Obama will use it when it is needed. Nice weapon to have in your back pocket. I wonder how long they had these emails. They have going through all these emails for months now. I betcha they know all the dirt now. During the 2010 and 2012 campaign I would release one everyday day. (lol). It is on now!
My favorite part is listening to our little friends on the right apologize to those two crooks. Still I know it is too much to hope for - that they end up in jail, which is exactly where they belong.

Mislabeled and lost? We aren't talking about you car keys or your tax return forms, were talking server farms of serialized, Federally protected hard drives. Who mislabeled them on whose orders?
