"Do you people not care a whit about your fellow Americans?"

Yes we do. This is the very reason we oppose this bill. This bill will do nothing to help you and everything to hurt you. You think it is well intentioned, I wish it were. I wish health care reform actually resulted in making the system better. This bill isn't it.

When you hear that there will be a 40% surtax on high end health insurance plans, do you cheer that on?

How about cutting 500 million from Medicare in the first year alone, sound good to you? Taxing medical equipment?

Forcing people to buy health insurance or threaten them with a fine and possible imprisonment? Sign me up?

There were other options. All of which were ignored because it did not lead to a single payer.

  5. Dinner Anyone?

All I can say is Landrieu and Lieberman better stay home for dinner because there are so many waiters (without healthcare) who might spit in their food.

I really wouldn't go out to eat if I were them. Stay home and cook from now on–really.

Now you can see what $300 million can buy. I think that if you bribe someone for their vote you are suppose to go to jail, Lets make the white house a super prision.

can't wait to see how many of you dumb repos rush to sign up for the health care when it passes. Hear a lot of repo complaints but they are the first to want their medicare and social security and any welfare hand outs they can get. One gal told me the other day her daughter is pregnant but they don't want to marry because they get more benifits if she stays single. This from a big repo wing nut. HAVE SEVERAL HERE AT WORK TRYING FOR SSI ALL REPOS WITH LESS WRONG WITH THEM THAN THEaverage joe.

For all those who suggest people who do not like social programs should give up their social security and medicare. I would like to remind you that people have been forced to pay for those programs throughout their lifetime. Are you suggesting we take away those benefits from the ones who paid for it all their lives so we can give it to those who did not? If so,it would appear that you do not have the sense you were born with.
