Reid: Final Senate vote on health care bill Thursday morning

The vote had been expected about 12 hours later, on the night of Christmas Eve, due to Republican delay tactics to try to hold off the measure, which Reid has insisted be passed before Christmas.

    How disgusting this bill is and the news media coverage has been equally disgusting. I hope lawyers look at this people and challenge it for the following reasons: 1. How does the federal government "FORCE" people to get health insurance? What about the homeless, the poor, and those that cannot afford it? 2. How does one state get a tax break from ever having to pay into a federal program, and the rest of us will have to pay and make up for their exclusion? 3. The news media never discussed the provision in this garbage bill that forbids future bills from modifying this bill. How can you ban future bills from changing a piece of any bill? This is unconstitutional.

    Hate to say it, but Health Care reform has shown both parties are out of touch with reality. Neither side talked about how to solve the shortage of doctors and nurses, ridiculously high malpractice premiums, the high cost of medical technology, high cost of medical insurance premiums, and how the rich can get better treatment. Amazing how Congress exempted themselves from this coverage – hypocrites. Wish I had the same coverage opportunities that they passed for themselves.

    I consider myself an Independent moderate. However, both sides have been terrible examples of how our government is supposed to function. Hopefully everyone remembers to vote all of them out of office and lets get some new blood in office. Let's send a message to both parties that we want People who will represent the people, not special interest groups. Isn't this what our forefathers fought for when they stated in the Declaration of Independence "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

    Based on where our congress is taking us, the only real solution is term limits. Since it takes the congress to implement term limits, it will never happen. So, with that said, I now affiliate myself with a new un-official party, the "Anti-Incumbent Party".

    Who out there will join me to help save out constitution and country?

    Lets see, Democrats created if you base it off the sitting president and his policies:
    Social Security
    Medicare
    Medicaid
    All of which are broke and now they will implement another good idea with very little chance of it succeeding because as hard as they try they just cant pay for everything. They have the worst track record of managing to pay for things. Since they are focused on this so much they will drop the ball on other things like defense as what happened in the Clinton years and they some nut like Osama will pull off the unthinkable.

    I think I may have to do what Liberals did during the Bush years leave the country, so I will not have to pay for this garbage legislation anymore. I will never reap the benifit of any of these programs because they will be further bankrupt with this healthcare fiasco.
