The vast majority of Americans had very high expectations for – indeed, were given by the Democrats every good reason to believe in – what Obama and this Democratic Congress were going to accomplish.

    They’re failing miserably.

    Total disappointment.

  3. Marc, Canada - President Karzai vs President Obama administration corruption

The world and the American people have learned a great deal about the degree of corruption that is being accepted under President Obama's watch. I'm sure it's no worse than in previous administrations but this is not change we can believe in.

President Obama speaks about restoring America's moral authority in the world and now this scandal in the healthcare negotiations.

In this case a win in the healthcare debate will prove costly to the President and the American reputation around the world.

How can the President lecture other countries about poltical corruption when his own administration is so openly corrupt? I really thought the President was going to change Washington. It's time for politicians to put American before their own political careers and do what's morally right. Single Payer Universal Healthcare for all and get rid of most of your corrupt insurance industry.

Just think what the multi-millions spent on lobbyists and lobbying could have been spent on otherwise. Someone did the math and it turns out to be nearly $900,000 per day! Why all this money being spent to "stay the course" ??? Should be a hint that something is rotten in DC.
