Maybe Rep King would rather have the President at an Elementary School reading a story to the kids or appear under a "Mission Accomplished" banner and have that being the response. Saw an editorial cartoon of the republican strategy of whittling away Obama's support while standing in the desert of their ideas. The desert is created by their own scorched earth defense and pretty soon we'll all have nothing.

I am really starting to get extremely upset at how much everyone is criticizing eachother for no purposeful reason. I don't mind constructive criticism, but all the fighting that is going on right now is really troubling to me and a lot of other people.
What has been the point for all of this criticism; What has arguing senselessly with eachother ever accomplished?
The answer is nothing at all; it just makes the problem worse.
As Americans we should support our president, and better hope to God that he succeeds; if any president fails, our nation goes with him or her.
To all people calling for the failure of this president, I do not want your wish to come true because of this reason. If President Obama fails, then you will fail with him; no one deserves to fail. Everyone deserves the same shot at the American dream, and if our president fails, we can forget that from ever happening. So for God's sake people, get a grip on your lives and concious, put our ideas, minds, talents, and thoghts together to succeed as one America. This goes for everyone.

Yawn. Republicans criticize our President for everything short of breathing – and I'm sure they'd prefer he didn't do that either.

  7. What response? He never left the beach....

Terrorists running amok and Obama is lolling on the beach in Hawaii. If it has nothing to do with promoting socialism, he's not interested.

Whenever Obama does anything, the Republicans will be right there criticizing it. They offer no solutions or support, only constant negativity. If Obama was to 1- Cure Cancer, 2- Solve World Hunger, and 3- Bring World Peace, the Republicans would criticize him for 1- taking jobs from the Health Care profession, 2- spending too much time on international affairs and not focussing enough on domestic ones, and 3- showing weakness to our enemies.

I suppose the WH could assure everyone that we will kick some butt on this issue. You know, like we did before. Went to war. There are very blurred lines on where to find and fight the enemy because we can't always pin them down to a battlefield or nation for that matter. Homeland security could add more agents and agency, but then the naysayers (they know who they are) will whine "too much big government". It's a little game Republicans play. There's no winning the "political war on terrorism". Promising a "zero loss" battle is for fools and politicians. If you were President, how would YOU GUARANTEE "no danger" within our borders?

Republicans are professional critics and critics are a dime a dozen.
King Rebublican, Limbaugh's entire career is being a critic.
    They don't count.

Whats new, the republicans will attack the President for anything and everything he does, they don't know how to do anything but complain, whin and bellyache about everything........the President needs to let the investigators do their job and when he has all the facts I am sure he will give a full statement.......he isn't like Bush and jump to conclusions about lay off.......

Republicans criticizing Obama for response to foiled attack. WHAT? Are you kidding? No that can't be true, they wouldn't do that. They wouldn't take what could have been a horrible incident and try to score political points off of it. Not the Republicans. Do you know what, if there ever were a time to put aside this kind of politics it is now. But since this President have been in office this kind of stuff is all they have done. From day one when King Lambaugh gave the marching orders, he wanted the President to fail, these Republicans have follow 100 percent. This doesn't surprise me. And I will be willing to bet that big mouth Congressman from New York Rep. Peter King is at the for front.

Republicans are criticizing President Obama, and CNN considers this "news"? Come on. They find fault with everything he does, and it's usually a total waste of time.

The reporter ws criticizing the President in this article. Also, the adage of "speak softly, carry a big stick" is another thing that can be the President's modus operandi. Very weak reporting here.

I prefer that the president NOT get on television and set the stage for panic, speaking before he has information worth talking about. I like his style and Im tired of crazy republicans politicizing everything.

Republicans are best at criticizing President Obama. They are such idiots! President Obama is an excellent President and he knows what he is doing. Unlike Republicans, who want to use fear tactics to control America. Leave our President alone!!!

I don't know which Obama's response they are talking about. But the one I am reffering to is the quick response that the White House put out, that the incident was not a terrorist act, Maybe because the man was black, and from Nigeria, and Obama was just trying to cover himself.
