Washington (CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a deal with Fox News to appear as a contributor on the network, a source with knowledge of the agreement confirms to CNN.

There are no plans for Palin to anchor her own program, the source said.

Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, is considered to be a potential 2012 White House contender.

Just caught the replay of the VP Debate with Biden. It seems the McCain Campaign Staff could not get Palin to stop calling Biden, "O'Biden". So, they suggested that she request permission to call him "Joe". Well, during the debate, she referred to the Democratic Team as "Obama and O'Biden", which shows that she could not be trained to follow simple instructions, or to act like a leader. What a joke! I can see her running for president with "Joe the Plumber" as her running mate. Her new book, "The Rise and Fall of the GOP Empire" will be out this summer.

Newspapers she has read: "All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years."

Foreign Policy experience: "As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border."

Scary.. "I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out."

What a bunch of horsesqueeze contributors to this site. Why are you all so afraid of this woman? Get a life and watch Fox. By far the most viewers out there do; by far! Go Rush (Not of Fox), Beck, Sean and Bill. You totally outshine anything on CNN, PMSNBC or the old dino network channels. Ouch – dealing with facts. Contributors here can't.

Actually, this could help ratings for Flox. Many people will tune in just to hear her make a fool out of herself. I wont be one of them. I dont watch news from the Nitwit Network and can't see any reason to start when she starts babbling.

Just goes to show you how dumb FOX News is....to add this living moron to their lineup of other self-promoting buffoons like Beck, O'Reilly and Hannity.

Have these people ever listened to their own programs on tape after their live show? If so, how can they believe the lies, hatred and misinformation they heap on the airwaves?

What will Palin talk about? Gotcha, betcha and I can see Russia from my doorstep? This woman is as dumb as they come, but I guess since the Fox viewers are as dumb, they will enjoy her....sad state of affairs when Fox can fall so low....

  9. Carlos former Republican....

Let's see 'FOX Television" (they are NOT a news organization) have on their roster 'Dick' Morris, Karl Rove, now Sarah Palin, in keeping with their low intellect, ultra right wing, Obama hating diatribe Palin fits in perfectly. Maybe she'll report on how she hunts moose from helicopters, or how she can "see Russia" from her kitchen. Even a better idea can be a Palin reality show with Bristol and Levi and the whole trailer trash gang of characters!!!
Sarah is sure making the most of her 15 min of fame, why not this is the American way....scary thought she COULD have been our Vice President.......

Well, it is the conservative news channel. I can't think of a better place for opinion, bias and inaccurate reporting that fits Palin better. This could be one step before a presidential run in 2012.

So I guess she'll be moving from Alaska. Will Todd be moving with her, or will it just be a matter of time before they're splitsville?

What about the kids? Pretty disruptive for them to have to leave all their friends and start in new schools.

How will she square this with her disdain for the "media" which she blames for all her problems? Probably with more nonsense, a smirk and a wink.

Since it'll all be scripted, how will she justify her reading from a teleprompter (isn't that a big complain of hers about President Obama)?

I guess the only real winner in this scenario is Tina Fey, who will now certainly never run out of material 🙂

  12. Wake up America smell the coffee

Wow now they are letting her get on Fox News so she can fire up the base. That's great a idea. I am really trying to figure out who can really understand what Sarah stands for. This is the same women when she was gov said the she wouldn't hire any minorites in her cabnet. So i say what does she really stand for. I understand that the Tea Party movement is upset but where was this when Bush was president. Noone was really screaming about taxes at the time when he gave a tax break to the riches americans. Now it's funny the new president trying cut taxes for the poor and middle class. For some strange reason this is a problem and i can't understand why. So Mrs. Palin go to Fox noise channel and see if they can help you in that bid for 2012. Most americans are not stupid to believe that this women and Fox News really care about the people in this country when all they do is talk about things that is not helping the country to grow. Now how is telling people take back America helping to unite the country. These are the talking points for this channel. So how is this helping to move us forward? When will the right try and help our country to move in a positve directions. They have not said 1 nice thing about the president since he took office. Let's for get the fact that he stopped the country from falling. we have gone from loosing 760,000jobs per month to 85,000 so if he is not doing any good i would like Fox and Palin to tell us why.

Well, NBC will have to bring back Tina Fey, as Ms. Palin will provide lots of SNL material in the coming weeks. This should be great fun.

Wow, so much hatred for this little old lady. I always thought democrats were about peace, love, and sharing the wealth of others. What a bunch of hipocrytes. I bet every one of you watches every second of Palin's contributionson FNN. You already hang on every word she utters and every story broken about her. I'm an independent and I just wish she would get out of the public eye but you won't let her. Your hatred and immediate responses to any story is turning her into a folk hero! I suspect that's the only thing that keeps your hearts beating. The posts on CNN should be interesting after the dems lose the majority in congress and the senate in 2010 elections. Hopefully we'll see more independents/libertarians that will actually talk and mediate between the "rock and a hard place" formerly known as the two party system.

Chris Kronenberger writes, "Fantastic opportunity for her to showcase her competence regarding foreign and domestic policy, her efficacy concerning administration and her diversity as a Patriotic American."

No, this will be the perfect opportunity for her to show how well she can read off a teleprompter.

Also, what the heck does "diversity as a Patriotic American" mean?
