Palin: Fox gig doesn't close the door to 2012

(CNN) - Despite speculation from some political observers that Sarah Palin has ruled out a 2012 presidential bid in favor of a television career at Fox news, the former Alaska governor said all options still remain on the table.

Appearing Thursday night on Fox News - where Palin is now a formal contributor - Palin dismissed predictions her television deal means she has closed the door to a presidential bid:

"You know, I'm not going to close any doors for my future, for my family's future - don't know what's in the future, what it holds, but between now and whenever a big decision has to be made, I'm gonna do all that I can to help our country get back on the right track, and that's to get a message out there about solutions that I believe and a whole lot of Americans believe need to be plugged in," said the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee.

Who cares what she thinks. She will never get past the republican primaries and if she runs independent she will ross perot the republican bid. She seems mentally unstable, I feel bad for her.

The country went back on the right track when Obama got into office and we got rid of the Bush regime. Palin went to Fixed News because it's a better pay day than becoming a president.

Sarah Palin is the last person I want to make decisions about what the "right track" is (no pun intended) for this country.......She is an ignoramous....worse than George W.......oh the deluded arrogance!

For once in your life, get some common sense, Palin, please.

As a Lib/Dem who would like NOTHING MORE than to see you get your Klondike Knickers waxed up and down the U.S in 2012, I'm going to give some FREE advice:

STAY ON FOX!!!! You have a cushy job there spreading hate and racism there, they are paying you to be stupid ( handsomely, I might add)you are in a, and I laugh when I say this, "friendly enviroment".

I know other Libs are going to look at this, and they are going to skin me alive for telling you this, but I can't take too much laughing at you; my heart can't take it, my sanity can't take it.

    Please, stay on Faux Noise.

God help us if this woman ever attains a position of true national political power! She's like the poster child for the dumbing down of America. Since when does folksy personality qualify someone to run our nation? She lacks the intellectual acuity to be our President. But then, we have people out there with the equivalent of an 8th grade education voting politicians into office based on personality!

On the contrary- 2 years of Sarah Palin on Fox ought to ensure she'll never be able to seek public office ever again. Her lack of morals, divisiveness and outright lies will be continually demonstrated, and make her a toxic candidate for the Republicans and the Tea people- if they survive that long
