Palin: Fox gig doesn't close the door to 2012

(CNN) - Despite speculation from some political observers that Sarah Palin has ruled out a 2012 presidential bid in favor of a television career at Fox news, the former Alaska governor said all options still remain on the table.

Appearing Thursday night on Fox News - where Palin is now a formal contributor - Palin dismissed predictions her television deal means she has closed the door to a presidential bid:

"You know, I'm not going to close any doors for my future, for my family's future - don't know what's in the future, what it holds, but between now and whenever a big decision has to be made, I'm gonna do all that I can to help our country get back on the right track, and that's to get a message out there about solutions that I believe and a whole lot of Americans believe need to be plugged in," said the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee.

What makes her and anyone else that supports her thinks she's qaulified to run for POTUS , Please stop thinking that she is . She's strictly in it for money , and if your a normal thinking American you can pretty see that the people of this country are of no concern to her,why else would you abandon your post as govenor. Right now our country doesn't need a quitter , and to think if she got anywhere near the Whitehouse it would set our country back tenfold let alone diminish our standing around the world , are republicans that egotisticle to think having Palin around would surley weaken us as a nation .

Go ahead Sarah, all you need is a good vice presidential candidate and you may not have problems there either, I can suggest Sanford, Demint, of course Limbaugh and plenty more I can also ask GOD be as generous as it was with Bush, but also give you some brain, you may need it when you become President!!!

Good for you, Sarah! Keep that 2012 dream alive! I hope you do run. That would ensure another term for Obama!

Sociopath-Sarah's self-interest will never know any limits. I'm hoping she does run, because there won't be anyone easier for Obama to beat... plus, voting for her will make the Republican partry REALLY look stupid. John McCain already destroyed his own credibility by taking her as a running mate, but if the GOP embraces her enough to make her a nominee, it will firmly establish them as a party of superstitious flat-earthers who don't care about any qualifications beyond the religious.

Perhaps if Sarah doesn't run, they can nominate an eggplant. Or maybe a decorative table lamp. Inanimate objects would be just as qualified, and maybe more so. Also.

Way to go Sarah, keep them liberals stirred up and showing how sexist, mysoginistic and hateful they are. You can read their dope addled comments here. By the time 2012 rolls around, they won't be many left any more and those that are will be very marginalized. Don't get to cocky though, you have to remember anyone will be able to beat Obama by 2012, if he isn't impeached for high crimes by then.

You are not a presidential material, she has no knowledge at all, her IQ is no more than grade 10. It would be more fun to hear her gaff on FOX. She only can attract uneducated American. GOPERS are finish ,they don't have any candidate who can be a presidential material. Mark my word, even FOX will kick her out once people hear her gaff on her show, still not late to keep her mouth shut...

Sarah Palin doesn’t need to ‘close the door’ on her political aspirations; the US public, including many Republicans, has SLAMMED the door shut. She is smart enough, albeit barely, to read the writing on the wall. This time, she at least quit before she was even elected to the office.

Sarah Palin couldn't even make it through a single term as Governor of a state awash in oil money and federal handouts. As soon as a political scandal started to test her resolve, she folded under the pressure and quit, abandoning the people of Alaska that elected her to do that job. This is the 'leader' that some people want in the White House? Yikes.

That anyone actually considers Palin a serious contender for any national office shows just how irrational, naive, and desperate the Republican electorate has become. It's time to send Palin back to Wasilla and get serious, people.

"... I'm not going to close any doors for my future, for my family's future – don't know what's in the future..."

If YOU cannot come up with a GOAL – which is YOUR future – then you are LOST!!!!

Girl PA-LEAZE!!!! You are trying to have your cake and EAT it too.... You are a celebrity – you LOVE the celebrity status – You want to try and have your LIMELIGHT and run the country at the same time when YOU can't even WALK and CHEW at the same time – YOU showed that when you QUIT being Governor of AK!!!

Stay in SHOW BUSINESS and leave the country for someone else to run who is dedicated and would remain the entire term!!!!

Governor Palin feels that she has a call to serve this Nation, and she does. Being at FOX enhances her way to respond to that call. Any reasonable, non Palin-hater syndrome sufferer, can see this. At the same time, FOX ratings go through the roof: talking heads and "analysts" call it a win-win situation.

God helps us all if she has any to do with getting this country back on the right track. She needs to stay at Fox and where she is right at home with all the other right wing neo-conseveratives who want to give this country over to big wigs.

She's an opportunist and will go wherever she will get the most attention and biggest paycheck. She's not too bright but her followers don't know that because they aren't the sharpest knoves in the drawer either. Ever notice that a lot of them make comments on news articles as if Sarah herself personally reads them?

Palin is just what we need to ruin this country. She is delusional if she thinks she can be POTUS.

Oh yeah, we're all waiting with baited breath for Sarah's "Solutions".
Is she just that dim witted not to realize that she represents the greater part of the problem?

"You know, I'm not going to close any doors for my future." and "I'm gonna do all that I can to help our country get back on the right track."

I find it somewhat contradictory in that she "closed the door" on being Governor of Alaska so abruptly. And apparently "the right track "is going on television giving opinions and insight that don't legislate or have any way of actually changing things the way an elected official can.

As far as running for President, it would be something much better to watch other than Leno or American Idol, that's for sure.

If the past few days are any indication, her Fox career will be a brief one, she's already running out of things to say.

She also realizes that if she runs, she will be treated the same way by her Republican opponents as those mean liberals she always complains about. Then one of her most lucrative selling points – Sarah the victim – will be wiped out.

But please, tell us what solutions you are proposing. I would love to know.

Palin is clearly the frontrunner for 2012. No one else even comes close. Her intelligent mind and vast knowledge and experience is very reassuring to the voter.

Practically any Republican candidate would be better than Obama.

I can just hear Obama's top advisers saying "Hey, ask Bush to help with the relief effort in Haiti, then you can blame the whole catastrophe on him." Thank God Bush is man enough to help even though our current "President" is hiding behind closed doors with his cohorts trying to figure out the best way to sell this country out. If Obama really wanted to do something beneficial he would go to Haiti himself and use his community organizing skills to quell the violence that is on the verge of breaking out.

If Palin cared about her country, she would have started by fulfilling her commitment as an ELECTED OFFICIAL, instead of abandoning the citizens of Alaska. Every person with a barely functioning brain knows she has no shot at winning any presidential nomination. She's grabbing the money and shirking responsibility, and laughing and whining all the way to the bank at the same time. Picture incumbent President Obama's campaign slogan vs. the former governor of a state with fewer people than Nashville: PALIN QUIT ON THE CITIZENS OF ALASKA. HOW CAN SHE BE TRUSTED NOT TO QUIT ON AMERICA?
