(CNN) - Insurgent Massachussetts Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown told CNN he expects to be installed quickly as Massachusetts' next senator should he win the state's special election Tuesday.
Asked about the state of the race, Brown said he's still campaigning as if he's running "down 30 points."
But sounding confident, the GOP state senator says he's made plans to travel to Washington Friday if he's victorious.
Brown warned any plan to quickly pass health care reform before the results are certified in Massachusetts would send the wrong message to Americans.
He made the remarks as he was greeting voters outside Boston's TD Banknorth Garden before Monday's Boston Bruins game.
If Brown (what else is?) wins, two words...NUCLEAR OPTION !!!
Yeah, about as quickly as Al Franken was allowed to go to Washington. How about that. Republicans are such freakin' HYPOCRITES!!!!!
If I recall, they already passed senate with the 60 needed. That means the merging/passing only requires a simple majority, 51, to pass healthcare. All this hype and excitement is really a smoke and mirrors diversion to the sad situation.
If Brown is the choice of MA citizens, he should have a vote in the healthcare 'debate'....
brown is on his way
And so Mr. Brown thinks he's the hero galloping in on a white horse to save us from health insurance! Don't let this happen people! The irony of having someone from MA be the person that brings down reform - the same state that Senator Kennedy spent his entire life fighting for healthcare from is just too sad. Voters, go for Coakley!
I tried to tell you.
