Ted Kennedy's seat.
The ad began running on television in Massachusetts Monday, one day after the president was the main attraction at a rally for Coakley Sunday in Boston.
The commercial uses portions of Obama's speech from the Sunday Coakley campaign event.
"Martha knows the struggles Massachusetts working families face because she's lived those struggles. She's fought for the people of Massachusetts every single day," says the president in the ad. "As attorney general she took on Wall Street and recovered millions for Massachusetts taxpayers. She went after big insurance companies, took on predatory lenders. That's what Martha Coakley's all about. Every vote matters. Every voice matters. We need you on Tuesday."
Coakley, the Massachusetts attorney general general, is deadlocked with Republican state senator Scott Brown, according to recent polls in Massachusetts.

Go Massachusetts, Go Scott Brown. One more time for the shot that will be heard around the world!
Hey, Dutch the Great.

"I trust a former attorney general over this Tea-Bagger Brown any day of the week. BROWN OPPOSES CONTRACEPTIVES FOR WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN RAPED!!!"
------------------
You're listening to too much campaign BS. Scott Brown is pro-choice. Exact quote below. He supported an amendment to a bill allowing doctors to decline to participate in treatment. It did not outlaw contraceptives for women who have been raped.
“I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial-birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.’’
In addition to his sponsorship of the Women’s Right to Know bill, Brown sponsored an amendment to a 2005 bill on emergency contraception that would have let emergency room doctors or nurses turn away rape victims if they had religious objections to providing emergency contraception...."
Isn't she the one who can't even spell her own state properly?
It is so funny to read these comments. Do any of you think for yourself or do you just repeat what you hear from Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity? Please do some research and form your own opinion instead of just repeating what you hear for example "The Radical Terrorist Sympathizer Marxist Party" now that is original is that Beck or Palin. All of you remember the comments in 2012 when the President wins reelection since the reality is that the GOP has to pick a candidate to run against him and there are not a whole lot of options out there for them. It is easy to say you will vote against him when there is no other candidate but if that candidate is Romney or something like that PLEASE!!!!!!!
The dems really don't understand the issue which is most Americans do not support their policies
@rob,
What kind of progress are you referring to? The bank and auto industry bailout? The trillion dollars deficit budget? An health care bill that will ruin the country's economy for the next 100 years? The unkept and broken promises? The self-hating american bashing of Obama abroad where he doesn't miss an opportunity to slam down his so-called home country (we all know it's Kenyia but what the hell...)??
And the list goes on and on deep enough to make a democrat want to regret the good old days of the Bush era.
USA, do yourself a favor, kick those marxists of the so-called democRAT party out of the Senate ASAP!!!
Folks, it is not about the party or candidate but rather the roll of government in our republic form of government. Obama and Coakly believe bigger government is better and that we should or "must" be dependent on the government for everything including our health...
While Brown is not the cure, we must admit, he presents a step in the right direction. He has my vote.
It's hard to see aything good coming of this. Obama's dismal leadership has brought the election to this point. Not Coalkey. The folks in MA will shoot themselves and the nation in the foot so they can throw a temper tantrum but the Democrats have turned a golden opportunity to make meaningful changes into a disaster.
Wake up Mass. You've been under suppression for years with the Kennedys and they were not looking out for your best interests!
Obama has delivered the Democrats suicide by Healthcare by ignoring Republican ideas like opening the insurance market do you can buy insurance acroo state lines. It is a lie that Republicans have no ideas, The are totally ignored by the Liberal Leadership and look what is happening. This election will be 3 in a row!
Let's all wait for tomorrow for the results. What we know is US conservative dogs are hounding on Mass and pouring all the illegal money made in wars is going into this campaign. I wouldn't count out Mass democrats they have been the most loyal democrats of all states and they will prove it again on Tuesday.
You know your party is lost when the president has to take time out of his busy schedule to campain for you in a very blue state. Even if Coakly wins it won't be by much and that right there should say there is something wrong with you policies. I have said it once I have said it twice Obama is the black version of Bush (does not care about anything but his own personal agenda which is delegated by the group of no one knows there name). It is the United States of America where the states were suppose to have the choice of thier own opinion and the federal goverment was only suppose to step in to keep wrong doing from happening. Instead the feds tell the states what to do and leaves it up to them to enforce it and pay for it.
If Mass votes in Brown, they deserve every inch of him. All you need to do is look at the slobbering republicans who want more of the spoiled rich boy style of Georgie Bush.
I am moving to Asia, I do not care. But I have to laugh that half this country wants to continue with the Republican sewage.
Good luck with THAT
Like O is going to help.
Hey Phil – the economic mess is thanks to Dems Dodd and Frank. But then, I wouldn't expect you to be interested in facts.
"Tu-r-r-n out the lights – the party's over...."
Nobama and another elitist! Great. Say goodnight, "Croakly". Inviting Nobama was the final nail in the coffin.
Never heard of her! What's her background, where's she been?
Live in MA and voting for Scott Brown. Martha Coakley has never lowered my taxes, taken on any companies (some energy company just left the state with like 56 million of our tax dollars and went to China), she's in bed with insurance companies, my health insurance has tripled since enforced health care in MA which Pres Obama is using as a blue print for his health care and I haven't been able to see my doctor in over a year.
Change has finally come to America–One year later! Sure didn't take Obama long to lose it all.
He's the exact reason to not vote for the Democrat and all their immorality. It's time to take back America.
@rob
I would be interested in what kind of progress you think this country has made in the past year. Whatever it is it definitely is not very apparent. Most people in this country would not agree with you at all. Apparently you are totally unaware of what is going on in this country right now. Big government and socialist attitudes are going out fast and rightfully so. You know, it used to be that Europe and other countries wanted to emulate this country. Now, under the current administration, this country is trying to emulate Europe. Huge mistake. Events of this past summer, town hall meetings and Tea Parties should have been a warning, but the dumber elements wanted only to offer ridicule and name calling. So now the chickens are coming home to roost, so to speak.
Barack Obama: "Anybody can buy a pickup truck."
Marie Antoinette: "Let them eat cake."
Mass voters:"REVOLUTION!"
I find the references to "OBOZO" rather amusing but on target. I voted my conscience in the last Presidential election and will do so again in 2012. What I observed from this last election has resulted in the same ol' crappola. My conclusion is that one should never vote for change just to have a change. America for the most part has been sold to the highest bidder.
Once again we see and hear the rabid right spew their hate and venom. At a recent Brown rally one Brown supporter is caught on tape screaming out that Coakley should be raped with a curling iron with Brown acknowledging him.
What a disgusting response from Brown. If he were a man he would have admonished his supporter for saying such a thing.
