Democrat: Suspend health care reform until Brown is seated

Jim Webb of Virginia said it would be 'fair and prudent' to suspend health care reform legislation."]Washington (CNN) - A moderate Democratic senator is calling on his colleagues to shelve health care reform legislation until Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown takes his seat in the United States Senate.
"In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process, Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia said in a statement Tuesday after Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley in the special election for the late Sen. Edward Kennedy's seat.
"It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated."
Senator Ted Kennedy was loved by his constiuents in Mass. He fought so many years for Health Reform and now his state has literally forgot all he has done. It is a sad day and I am glad the Senator is not here to see his work was all for naught!!!!!
Jim Webb is our fine Senator from Virginia and a man I have always admired for his unwavering stand in his beliefs–Sen. Webb is a true breath of fresh air in the stagnant arena of D.C. politics-
No, Mr. Webb! It's about acting like a Democrat and making the changes happen as promised to voters. Pass health care because it's the right thing to do for the people of the USA. Get the lobbyists and their money out of your decision making. Create jobs, pass health care, deal with illegal immigration, and end Wall Street bonuses, etc. Get a clue......We don't want status quo moderate policies; we want to move forward. And moderates like you are holding us back. Now we're being pulled back to the old Bush and Republican ways because voters are losing their trust in Democrats. Start doing what's right for the people or more Democrats will be losing their congressional seats.

This should be a wake-up call for Obama not to stray too far to his
left. He needs to get rid of Clintonites like Rham Emmanuel, Janet Napolitano, and David Axelrod advisors. Forget about amnesty and
gays in the military. Such issues are clearly divisive.
Senator Webb called it "fair and prudent" to suspend this bill.
"Reasonably decent" was the description I had in mind before I read Senator Webb's.
Of course, the truth is that suspending ObamaCare is the only way any Democrat can expect to continue to live in Washington without getting a job outside of politics, unless he has a good trust fund.
After President Obama's extraordinary and unexpected contribution to this nation, the majority of American citizens are out for blood.
