Palin wants Rahm Emanuel fired

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/11/10/art.getty.rahm.emanuel.jpg caption="Palin says Emanuel should be fired over a recently reported comment."](CNN) - This time, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has gone too far, Sarah Palin says.

The former Alaska governor is calling on President Obama to fire his notoriously coarse top aide after a report in the Wall Street Journal last week quoted Emanuel as referring to liberal groups in August who attacked the president's health care plan as "F-ing retarded."

In a posting on Facebook, Palin says the language is not only "caustic [and] crude" but deeply offensive to those with disabilities. She also compares the choice of words to that of the "N-word" in reference to African-Americans.

"His recent tirade against participants in a strategy session was such a strong slap in many American faces that our president is doing himself a disservice by seeming to condone Rahm's recent sick and offensive tactic," Palin wrote.

"Just as we'd be appalled if any public figure of Rahm's stature ever used the "N-word" or other such inappropriate language, Rahm's slur on all God's children with cognitive and developmental disabilities – and the people who love them – is unacceptable, and it's heartbreaking," Palin also wrote in the post Monday evening.

Palin's youngest child, Trig, was born with Down Syndrome in April, 2008.

Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver has also taken issue with the language, sending a letter to Emanuel last week asking him to join his organization's campaign to end the use of the word.

The White House has not commented on Emanuel's reported language.

Sarah Palin stay on the sidelines. Keep your"re opinion to yourself. Same goes for Dick Cheney. Your time is up. Sometimes harsh words are called for – seems like alot of people don't get get the message. Any effort to improve things is better than none at all. Can you imagine if we all agreed or could reach an agreement what the possibilites would be. A decision on an issue should not take months or years to resolve. Emanuels poor choice of words does get your attention.

The day Obama takes advise from Sarah Palin, will be the day I never support him again. Secondly, when did she ever reprimand anyone who viciously attacked Obama with false allegations and vile names. She even sat back as people in her rallies shouted out that they should kill him.

Of the three (Obama, Emanuel, Palin) – she is by far the least qualified to hold an opinion that makes any difference to anyone but her fellow head-in-the-sand and make-up-your-own-facts Conservative nutjobs.

Instead of speaking up to scold anyone who crosses fire with your pet projects Sarah, why not concentrating on saying something of merit and substance, or dare I say, originality? You can get as technologically 'hip' as you want, and you can rattle the saber for all the other intellectually lazy, half-informed middle-classers and baby boomers, but the bottom line is, conservative politics have become nothing more than a joke; a self-aggrandizing party of holdouts from the latter half of the 20th century, still expecting their 2 car garage, a chicken in the pot, and Leave it to Beaver on TV, and screw anyone that doesn't have or cant understand that. The GOP keeps proselytizing about the social ills of our culture while providing the same selfish, excessive, anti-intellectual cardboard pop-out political viewpoints, which are made to purposely bind together and hoodwink the middle class into believing these pro-business candidates care about them. (How many businesses do you know give out money when they don't absolutely have to? The answer, not any of the smart ones.)
Rational self-interest is not a political ethos; it is the final nail in the coffin of every major civilization that has crossed the face of this planet.

This may be the only time... ever, but I agree with Palin on this. I agree that using the R word in this way is akin to using the N word.

Dear Ms. Sarah Palin, you fried yourself from your previous job as Governer of the great State of Alaska. You did not complete your time in office but preferred to leave 18 months before your job was done.

Your main job since leaving office is to tarvel to all those places you never knew were in the United States and better yet; as a far right wing moron, you prefer to make money. You don't have a good reason to blame, suggest or even speak about anything pretaining to governing; yet, you are still all over the news.

Wht can't you get it through your thick head that only those on fringe benefits like yourself care. Only loonie folks care to hear you speak as they all speak the same language, manner, tone and ignorance as you do. Do you know where to find Iraq on a world map? How about Russia?

See, this is why IM glad I didnt vote for Odumbo, I used my head and not my heart. I wanted to vote for him but I just kept hearing things that bothered me, to many little red flags were popping up.

Like Van Jones, He said he was a communist and Odumbo still tryed to sneak him in. Why would he do that? He had to of had him checked out, right?

Either Odumbo is blind and wanted to beleive in his many friend or he knew who they were and just didnt care. Rev Jones, come on.To many bad seeds were hanging on to Odumbo's shirt tail and they keep show us who they truly are.

Rahm you just showed America who you really are, you are the worst kind of a human being, you are a racist pig and we can no longer trust you. I Can't beleive that he accually spoke those words about the American people who give him his pay check.
I hope you are proud of your self Rahm because the rest of the country isn't.

Kind of scary not knowing who Odumbo has put into his adminisration
that we know nothing about. Just can't keep a good racist down can you.

Those who've been paying attention may remember that, about a year ago, Obama told David Letterman that his lousy performance at bowling was "like the Special Olympics." The truth is that the "compassionate" Obama administration is really just a bunch of insensitive frat boys.

This is what is wrong with our politics and why it is such a dirty word
I dont care whether you agree with Sarah Palin or like her or not .. it does not matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican ..

    This has got to STOP!!!

The one thing that Obama has going for him above all else is the fact that he is the new / improved face or politics to the public and the new /improved face of USA to the World

Mr. President .. take heed .. you do not want to be associated with people like this
We the people do not want to see our President associating with people like Rahm Emanuel ..

Will you sir do the right honorable thing?

Oh great, Sarah's now our guardian of political correctness toward the disabled because she has a Downs child? Who's exploiting whom? If her 'Tea Party' followers weren't such 'f___ing retards' themselves, they'd probably denounce her as a 'liberal'.

No doubt Palin's comments were in part politically motivated, but she's right.

And considering that well over half of the American population did not support the government's seizure of the American health care system, the conclusion is inescapable that Mr Emanuel thinks over half of us are "retarded."

(This seems to be the typical left-liberal response to those who disagree with them–"If they don't agree with me, they must be idiots.")

If the information provided in the article is true, one could agree that Rahm should not be cursing.

However, anyone who works, which Sarah does not, knows that occassional use of the F-bomb does occur, and the phrase Rahm is alleged to have stated is a relatively common phrase, not intended to disrespect anyone, just like "Oh my God."

Sarah is, once again, overreacting and demonstrating her thin skin, giving further evidence that she is ill-suited for politics, and one of the reasons she quit the job the citizens of Alaska elected her to perform...one that she asked them to elect her to.

Her thin skin, coupled with her ignorance, lying and hypocritical positions are all reasons why she is a poor choice for any elected position.
