Palin wants Rahm Emanuel fired

The former Alaska governor is calling on President Obama to fire his notoriously coarse top aide after a report in the Wall Street Journal last week quoted Emanuel as referring to liberal groups in August who attacked the president's health care plan as "F-ing retarded."
In a posting on Facebook, Palin says the language is not only "caustic [and] crude" but deeply offensive to those with disabilities. She also compares the choice of words to that of the "N-word" in reference to African-Americans.
"His recent tirade against participants in a strategy session was such a strong slap in many American faces that our president is doing himself a disservice by seeming to condone Rahm's recent sick and offensive tactic," Palin wrote.
"Just as we'd be appalled if any public figure of Rahm's stature ever used the "N-word" or other such inappropriate language, Rahm's slur on all God's children with cognitive and developmental disabilities – and the people who love them – is unacceptable, and it's heartbreaking," Palin also wrote in the post Monday evening.
Palin's youngest child, Trig, was born with Down Syndrome in April, 2008.
Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver has also taken issue with the language, sending a letter to Emanuel last week asking him to join his organization's campaign to end the use of the word.
The White House has not commented on Emanuel's reported language.
Palin's right, but we all know Barry can't poop without Rahm and Axeldick's say so. So he's not going anywhere.
I'm searching the archives for the advice she gave to President Bush when Vice President Cheney dropped the F-bomb on the floor of the U.S. Senate, but I can't seem to locate it.

I still haven't heard Palin denounce the rants from her rallies. I guess it's okay for people to yell racial slurs at her events. Someone needs to call her out on this. When haver I seen Palin engaged with anyone in the African American community???? NEVER! She's a racist!!!
This is yet another example of just how out of touch and naive the President and his aids truly are. Mr. Emanuel clearly showed his lack of political bearing and the severity of the aggression this administration has towards opposition to its wishes. Is this really an example of democracy in action?

First of all, I don't believe Palin wrote her statement – too many big words.
Second of all, while I was also offended by Rahm's choice of words, I recall Palin not having a problem with insinuating then-candidate Obama was a terrorist and smiling smugly when participants at her rallies yelled, "Kill him!"
Finally, where was all her outrage when then-VP Cheney on the Senate floor in June 2004 told Senator Leahy to go "F" himself?

Let's be real ms. Palin and call things what they are. There are bright people and some less bright and there are retarded people. Since you have decided to raise one, being aware it was your choice, your decision does not give you the right to eliminate the word from the dictionary. It is a statement and it stands in my view. Palin, when your Tea Baggers and conservative friends made racist remarks towards President Obama, then you ask any of them to step down, or did you even address them? I think not. It's obvious that every thing that you do has a political motive. And even if Emanuel did in fact say the things that you purport, your reason for addressing them and even using the "N word" as an analogy was done more so to try to turn his constituents against him than out of any real sense of indignation.
That's right Sarah, use that baby again for sympathy and for brownie points. That expression, although not a nice one, has been around for ages. Rahm studied ballet at Sarah Lawrence College, cut part of his finger off in an accident at his high school job at an Arby's restaurant, swears like a sailor, and doesn't seem to care what others think of him...I don't think his give a f what Ms. Palin has to say.

Well bloggers, CNN continues their ongoing love affair with Palin and continues to shove her down our throats. If we totally ignored their articles on her, perhaps they would quit posting her. Have you noticed that they report every blog on her, while on important issues they may post 10 or 20 comments?? Have read the head honchos never read or pay attention to the blogs, so it is the people who handle the web who decide what is posted. The people at the top never know how sick we are of the Palins, Cheneys, Roves etc. No wonder CNN's ratings continue to plummet.
If Palin wants someone fired that is proof to me we need them.
And, will totally quit blogging on anything todo with Palin.
