[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/02/05/art.obama.helmet.gi.jpg caption="President Obama will host a Super Bowl party this weekend at the White House."](CNN) - President Obama will hold his second bipartisan Super Bowl party this weekend, his aides announced Friday morning.

It will be a much smaller affair than last year when more than 75 people gathered to watch the game at the White House theater. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said about 40 people altogether are invited Sunday to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

White House aides say House and Senate lawmakers, both Democratic and Republican, representing competing states on behalf of the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts have been invited. So far those who've accepted the invitations include Indiana Democratic Reps. Andre Carson, Baron Hill, and Brad Ellsworth, and Louisiana Republican Rep. Joseph Cao. Military service members who've been injured fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan will also be guests, along with their spouses and children.

Gibbs says the White House will put out a more complete list of attendees later in the day.

Last year the president hosted fans of the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers. Guests that year told CNN the president went walking from room to room serving them brownies and oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Also on last year's menu: hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, chips and salsa, soft pretzels, hot fudge ice cream and pizza.

What do you expect the president to do? Wave a magic wand and everything will be OK. President Obama is not Barack the Magic Negro as Rush (aka Drug Addict) Linbaugh has suggested. We had eight years to get in this mess. This president has only been in office a little over a year It will take a hell of lot longer for the US to recover. Instead of the Republicans and the racist white teabaggers doing everything to block this man's agenda, why don't they work together, Democrats included. Put this man's race aside and work for the betterment of the country. At least President Obama is trying to extend the hand of bipartisanship.

@ Fitz in Texas....... Please give us the SOURCE of your information on the Stimulus. Where did these numbers come from?

BTW George W. Bush spent $3 TRILLION in Iraq, a war started with LIES, a war that did not need to happen!

PS. When Bush took office, Clinton left him a BUDGET SURPLUS!

Hey, I know the truth is hard to handle, but try and deal with it, you may start thinking a little clearer. And what President has spent more money in one year then ALL Presidents combined..........Well, I know you would never have guess the answer so let me fill you in......President Obama.

All you Obama haters, read your posts, you are pitiful. Why do you use all this energy with hatred and bigotry against our President. If you would put this energy into something more beneficial to you or to our country, we could get over Bush's mess much faster. I am 70+ and have never seen this much hatred in all my years. Going back to desegration in the 1950's there was not this much discontent. Get over it and help get this country back to where we belong.
