Poll no present to Palin on her birthday

According to an ABC News/Washington Post survey, 71 percent of the public say the former Alaska governor is not qualified to serve in the White House, with 26 percent saying the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee is qualified to be president. The 26 percent who say Palin is qualified is down 12 points from an ABC News/Washington Post poll from November.
Twenty-eight percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey from November indicated that Palin was qualified, with 7 in 10 feeling she was not qualified to be president.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll, released Thursday morning as Palin marks her 46th birthday, also indicates that even a majority of Republicans now view Palin as not qualified to serve as commander-in-chief. According to the survey, 45 percent of conservatives see her as qualified, down 21 points from last November.
The survey also indicates that 37 percent of Americans have a favorable view of her, with 55 percent holding an unfavorable view. According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey from last month, 43 percent of the public had a favorable opinion and 46 percent had an unfavorable view of Palin.
The poll was conducted February 4-8, as Palin gave the keynote address in Nashville, Tennessee, at what was billed as the first national Tea Party convention. The survey indicates that Americans are split on the Tea Party movement, with 35 viewing the movement in a favorable way, 4 in 10 holding an unfavorable impression, and a quarter of those questioned unsure about the year old movement. A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey conducted last month indicated that 4 in 10 were unsure, with one-third holding a favorable view and one quarter having an unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll indicates that 45 percent generally agree with the movement's small government positions on the issues, with 36 percent disagreeing and 1 in 5 unsure.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone, with 1,004 adults questioned. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

She wasn't qualified to be Governor of Alaska, or Mayor of Wasilla either.
But the good news is that Sarah the hockey mom ihas a good future in stand-up comed because she is a mishmash of “Chance the gardener,” played by Peter Sellers in, “Being There,” appearing to walk on water to people who ignore the obvious, under her the surface, to see her as whom they need her to be, but Sarah supplants Chance’s kindness with the sarcastic smugness of The Church Lady played by Dana Carvey on SNL, then she adds her own wacky Vaudeville outrageousness in deadpan style when being interviewed.
I'm not sure what some Americans think "qualified" to be president is, but I think Governor Palin would be much more suited for the job than what is in the white house now - his total lack of government savvy is about to destroy our country. His general policy is to blame others rather than take positive steps to improve the country in any way.
Palin is not qualified to hold any political office. She cannot answer questions and is never prepared on the issues. She is a liar and a racist.

Ms. Palin is studying hard and will soon be able to point out Europe on a world map. Once she gets this type of information "at her fingertips" she should make an excellent republican presidential candidate. Who better to make the republican case that government is inept?

This gives me more confidence in the intelligence level of our country. At least people are smart enough to see through her propoganda and realize that she has no ideas (let alone the brains to come up with any), only negativity and hypocrisy. I wouldn't feel confidant with Palin as President, but then I wouldn't with Biden either. Hopefully, we can survive Obama's four or less years.
That she was not qualified to be president was never in question. Let's get to something more controversial: Is Sarah Palin qualified to live on her own, outside of an institution?
I, for one, say yes. She should be allowed to live, with minimal supervision, outside of a mental hospital or facility for the criminally insane. That is, as long as she agrees to quit making comments that infect the weaker among us with her sick perspective.

Just to put this in perspective, slightly more than half of adult Americans believe that Jesus created the world six thousand years ago. Apparently a significant number of even these people don't believe Sarah's qualified to be president.

Funny, the numbers do not stack up against other polls. Must have polled the liberal bed wetting panty waisted males and their pierced girl friends(boys in drag). The really low numbers are the demorat congress and nobamas numbers are falling off a cliff.
If the polls indicate few voters would support Gov Palin, why is the media so intent on continuing to write negative stories about her. ie. Joe Biden interview. Is all the VP talked about Sarah Palin? The Dems seem to be preoccupied with her. For all the people that castigate her for resigning her seat as Governor, didn't Obama resign from his committment to serve in the Senate early to become President? In fact, I think Biden did the same thing. Oh, wait so did Hillary Clinton. I have more respect for someone who resigns from their government job when pursuing a promotion to another job or another office rather than continuing to collect taxpayer dollars while running around the country trying to get elected to be President.
