Poll no present to Palin on her birthday

According to an ABC News/Washington Post survey, 71 percent of the public say the former Alaska governor is not qualified to serve in the White House, with 26 percent saying the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee is qualified to be president. The 26 percent who say Palin is qualified is down 12 points from an ABC News/Washington Post poll from November.
Twenty-eight percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey from November indicated that Palin was qualified, with 7 in 10 feeling she was not qualified to be president.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll, released Thursday morning as Palin marks her 46th birthday, also indicates that even a majority of Republicans now view Palin as not qualified to serve as commander-in-chief. According to the survey, 45 percent of conservatives see her as qualified, down 21 points from last November.
The survey also indicates that 37 percent of Americans have a favorable view of her, with 55 percent holding an unfavorable view. According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey from last month, 43 percent of the public had a favorable opinion and 46 percent had an unfavorable view of Palin.
The poll was conducted February 4-8, as Palin gave the keynote address in Nashville, Tennessee, at what was billed as the first national Tea Party convention. The survey indicates that Americans are split on the Tea Party movement, with 35 viewing the movement in a favorable way, 4 in 10 holding an unfavorable impression, and a quarter of those questioned unsure about the year old movement. A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey conducted last month indicated that 4 in 10 were unsure, with one-third holding a favorable view and one quarter having an unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll indicates that 45 percent generally agree with the movement's small government positions on the issues, with 36 percent disagreeing and 1 in 5 unsure.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone, with 1,004 adults questioned. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

I'm sure Sarah couldn't give a rat's patoot about what any poll has to say re: her chances of being President. Don't you people get it yet? She doesn't WANT to be President. Heck, she didn't even want to be governor! Remember, she quit before the job was done? She wants MONEY, and her little nitwit fan club is happy to oblige, buying her ghost-written book and listening to her grammatically inept, third grade level "commentaries" on the FOX/GOP News Channel. Palins only qualifications are being a bad Mayor and sharing a very short stint as Governor with her husband.Every time she speaks her credibility gos down a notch.Her best qualities are lying,spreading fear and hate.She still has not put forth any ideas to help her country other then name calling and the blame game.While she was Mayor she made some very bad decisions and the people of Wasilla demanded she had an administrator oversee everything she did and she did not have final say.We all know she was a ceremonial Governor with her husband at the helm.She just is not qualified whatsover to ever be in the Whitehouse. She is much more normal and average then she likes to think and there is nothing wrong with average, just don't dumb down your country by thinking you could be POTUS.
We have a country full of idiots who will follow any fad that starts up. I never saw anything like it. Sarah Palin was chosen as McCain's running mate because she was a woman from an oil state and everyone could holler to drill baby drill. Well, that fad already went down the tube. We don't hear that phrase anymore. The Dems had a woman in the running so the Republicans wanted to copy that. They brought Sarah down here along with all her family and did their best to dress them up and fool the American people into accepting them. I bet the Republicans wish now they had never heard of her. She turned out to be a dunce who could see Russia from her house. Our esteemed media are to blame for keeping her name out there. Some of the anchors are just now beginning to admit just how dumb she is. So there we have it. The public is finally starting to turn away from her too. The woman just needs to go to the house.
Anyone who can't memorize six simple words and has to write them on her hand is not someone who belongs anywhere near the White House. I'm glad the people are finally seeing through this desperately incompetent woman.

Appears to be a very nice person, with lots of talents;however, she would probably be a good fit other political positions (senator). Both republicans and democrats are collecting a paychecks with zero accomlishment. Selfishless is encased by both parties.
I doubt that Sarah Palin cares about this poll - I certainly don't. She is - and will remain - an honest, common-sense voice in the political wilderness created by Obama's cadre of clueless academic snobs coming out of the bowels of academia! They operate from theoretical assumptions and have NO IDEA of how the real world works. Sarah, on the other hand, DOES know! And we like that!

In the same poll, 8 out of 10 aslo BELIEVE that Owebama is not qualified to be President.
