Clinton ponders Palin presidency

(CNN) - While the thought of a Sarah Palin presidency may leave some Democrats running for the hills, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joked Tuesday she will "not be emigrating" should the former Alaska governor win a White House bid.

Clinton was asked during a town-hall meeting at an all-women college in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, if she would consider moving to Canada or Russia instead of living in the United States under a President Palin.

Clinton was amused.

"Well, the short answer is no. I will not be emigrating," she said to laughter. "I will be visiting as often as I can."

Clinton, who is on a tour of the Gulf Region, also took aim at the never-ending nature of the American political process.

"It is part of the American political environment that people are always speculating on who will run for president and who will become president," she said. "And I have gone through that experience personally so I am very well acquainted with it."

"But I am not going to speculate on who might or might not be nominated by the Republicans," Clinton added. "I am very proud to support Barack Obama and I will continue to support Barack Obama."

Clinton battled Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2008, nearly bcoming the first woman to capture a major party's presidential nomination.

Does that mean that educated women in Saudia Arabia also see Sarah Palin as a big joke? What is their take on the Republican Congress?

The Dems are pretty smart – if they can keep the spotlight on Sarah, no other Republican candidate can emerge. And Sarah can't win against Obama (or anyone else, for that matter). Republicans will get their act together and nominate someone who can actually challenge Obama – perhaps Romney, or even Huckabee – there are viable candidates out there, but Sarah isn't one of them no matter how much the Dems want her to be.

If Palin wins I will leave the country until she is out of office... if there is still one left. That woman should not be in ANY position of power let alone the highest. If she wins the presidency I fear it will be the end of America, and possibly start world war 3. I've seen a video of her calling the Iraq war a holy war for god, made me sick. I would not be suprised if she is the Antichrist, even though I don't believe in that stuff.

Honestly, be honest. She is not a dumb as you say. Its all about hate. So she is not a rocket scientist or super brain. To say she is an idiot is to say most women in america are idiots. She above average based on her being a govenor, mayor and having a bachelors degree. Again that does not make her a super brain, just above average. Quit bashing this woman. Be real, she is.

For God's sake. Obama was elected by the majority of Americans who voted and it would appear that all the negativity surrounding this fact inicates that you have not accepted that FACT. Get over it. Now, turn off Fox and go find a job. Stop this awful hatemongering. Freedom of speach is one thing but some of you go waaayy beyond common civility to a fellow human being. Moron seems to be the name of choice. President Obama is doing an excellent job and you will have to wait until it all comes together. Name calling and hatred is not going to make things happen sooner, it just makes you sound very stupid, uneducated and hateful.
By the way, the Democrats are NOT afraid of Palin, they have real things to worry about. so smarten up.

When you take the "L" out of "PALIN" you have PAIN! That is a lot to consider.

People would do well to stop complaining about President Obama apparently not moving fast enough on job creation. After the deep, deep mess Bush/Cheney and the Republicans left, it is a miracle President Obama has done as much as he has. He needs our support and our thanks!

Ms. Clinton, knows the global countries before she ever became Sec. of State. How many foreign countries can Palin NAME?

Another non-story about Gov. Sarah Palin, another opportunity for the Palin-hating morons to come out and spill their venom, and CNN to attract some traffic to their sinking ship.

It is good to see that the Secretary of no bid Obama donor contracts has a sense of humor. BY the mid term elections, Obama will be a lame duck looking at a GOP controlled House and senate, and Thank God for that,

The national experiement with the Chicago community organizer has been a disaster for the country.

Hillery is the most worthless secretary of state ever.

Obama don't even let her do her own job, that's how worthless she is.

The only reason the is Sec. of State is to try to appise the PUMA crowd.

Sarah won't run for elected office cause she is in it for the MONEY.
Can't make the big bucks if she is in the white house.
That is why she quit the Gov job in Alaska, So she could make more money. Its all about the MONEY. Im glad she has stopped calling herself a Barracuda, as she has lowered the value of my 1969 Hemi Barracuda.
    Sarah is a empty vessel.
