Clinton ponders Palin presidency

(CNN) - While the thought of a Sarah Palin presidency may leave some Democrats running for the hills, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joked Tuesday she will "not be emigrating" should the former Alaska governor win a White House bid.

Clinton was asked during a town-hall meeting at an all-women college in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, if she would consider moving to Canada or Russia instead of living in the United States under a President Palin.

Clinton was amused.

"Well, the short answer is no. I will not be emigrating," she said to laughter. "I will be visiting as often as I can."

Clinton, who is on a tour of the Gulf Region, also took aim at the never-ending nature of the American political process.

"It is part of the American political environment that people are always speculating on who will run for president and who will become president," she said. "And I have gone through that experience personally so I am very well acquainted with it."

"But I am not going to speculate on who might or might not be nominated by the Republicans," Clinton added. "I am very proud to support Barack Obama and I will continue to support Barack Obama."

Clinton battled Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2008, nearly bcoming the first woman to capture a major party's presidential nomination.

Here we go. Negative Liberal comments are bound to hit this board. You liberals never fail. Once you hear the name Palin, your respect goes out the window (and also your political credibility). Rather than hate or bash on a political figure in a blog behind a fake name, write a letter to your congress representative and offer advice. BUT that will never happen, cause your jobs as liberals (it appears from evidence on CNN blogs) is to hate and bash.

Today, I heard that President Obama is making some loans to build some nuclear reactors here in America; that is a great idea. We need to produce both renewable and non-renewable resources here in America; that will create so many jobs and generate a huge budget in America in the long run; surplus budget. We have to approach this in more than one way though; here is what I mean:
I think a way we can revive not just the entire automotive industry, but our economy as a whole, is to reform our economy to clean energy independence.
What then are attributes of a sustainable economy in the information age?
    1. Populations of humans and other organisms living in harmony with the natural support systems such as air, water, and land (including ecosystems).
    2. An energy policy that does not pollute the atmosphere, cause climatic damage such as climate change, or present unacceptable risk ( a political or social decision).
    3. A plan for renewalbe resources such as water, forests, grasslands, agricultural lands, and fisheries that will not deplete the resources or damage ecosystems.
    4. A plan for nonrenewable resources that does not damage the regional to global environment while ensuring a share of our nonrenewable resources is left to future generations.
    5. A social, legal, and political system that is dedicated to sustainability with a democratic mandate to produce such an economy.
To achieve a sustainable United States economy, it is necessary that we:
    1. Develop an effective population control strategy.
    2. Completely restructure our energy programs; a sustainable US economy cannot run on fossil fuels for too much longer. Conservation of energy must have a central place in our energy management plans.
    3. Institute economic planning, including development of a tax structure that will encourage population control and wise use of resources.
    4. Implement social, legal, political and educational changes that provide for maitenance of a quality local, regional, and universal environment.

ok...so I have to ask....if the "soft approach" our President is taking with foreign governments is not working why such great news from Pakistan today?

Under Bush, Pakistan was filing complaints with the UN for the rocket attacks inside its borders. Since President Obama sat down with them, they allowed us to increase our rocket attacks AND they've helped us capture/kill many many many more than under Bush. Actually...did Bush get any?? oh yeah.... he got Sadam but that was for his Dad...not the American people.

Considering Palin for anything more than another brainless mouth piece on Fox who does not deserve one watching Fox – No Matter which one of the idiots are broadcasting!!!! Palin needs to return to school in order to gain command of the english language – then take some Americah history classes – then and only if she passes with grades better than a C average should she be considered for any office – Oops!!! I forgot this is a lady who could not even finsh her term as governor of Alaska – what will she do when things get tough in the White House – Oh Yeah....she will merely just waive her white flag and Quit!!!

Sarah Palin Presidency? LOL...{:o) You've GOT TO BE KIDDING !!
I would put my condominium up for sale in a flash and seriously consider moving to Canada or Israel instead of residing in the United States under a President Palin. OMG – That is TOO FUNNY !! President Palin – Heaven Help this Great Country of Ours if this is what it would come down too. If the citizens of this Great Country of Ours think the Bush / Cheney administration left us with a mess, can you even begin to fathom what a Palin administration would do?? Forget about another Great Depression, there'll be another Revolutionary War in this Country !!

There went the key word – Palin; now let's watch the leftist hate-mongers come out of the woodwork. Makes me wonder about that half a percent of TV viewers who watch CNN, no wonder Fox crushes them in the ratings every day, people get tired of hearing propaganda.

I wish she won, we have now become a joke even to the repubs. We have the majority in senate, the house and presidency; and we are acting like we are the monirity party. Obama shows no back bone and seems like he does not know what to do. This man is not decisive at all.

Palin is proof positive that you can lead an ass to knowledge, but you can't make it think.

I fear for our nation if she is still on the national stage in 2012.

If Sarah wins the presidency she will have to write Washington DC on her hand to remember where she is; or maybe White House; or maybe America.

WOW. Just plain wow. Sooooo, even educated women in Saudi Arabia, which notoriously represses its women, recognize that Palin is a tapdancing disaster...a frolicking joke when it comes to women's rights and their stature on the world stage of leadership? Oh, but please do run her for POTUS...it will be so good for our foreign relations to throw some quasi-MILF partisan robot with crossed-wires and faulty programming into the fray...will work wonders.
