Fiorina web ad causing controversy, again

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/02/22/art.fiorina.0216.gi.jpg caption="A new Web ad from Carly Fiorina’s senatorial campaign is drawing heat Monday."]
Los Angeles (CNN) - It's another day, another controversial Web ad from California Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina.

Fiorina, who hopes to unseat Sen. Barbara Boxer this fall if she can emerge from a tight three-way Republican primary, has started running a new Web ad that uses the face of newly-elected Sen. Scott Brown. In the ad, a caption accompanying Brown's image reads: "Thank You Massachusetts. Now on to California. Join the Path to Victory."

But Fiorina's GOP rivals - former Rep. Tom Campbell and Assemblyman Chuck DeVore - say the ad falsely implies that Brown has endorsed Fiorina.

Campbell new media consultant Patrick Ruffini claimed that Fiorina is exploiting Brown, who became a hero to Republicans when he defeated Democrat Martha Coakley in a special election in January. "I don't know if she's claiming an endorsement, but that's up there in the Scott Brown exploitation sweepstakes," Ruffini tweeted on Saturday.

Joshua Trevino, communications director for DeVore, called the ad "deceptive and misleading".

Fiorina spokeswoman Julie Soderlund brushed off the charges and told CNN that "the ad in no way implies an endorsement."

It's unclear what kind of impact the ad will have on the race, but whatever happens, it's unlikely to make the same kind of splash as Fiorina's recent Web video attacking Campbell as big-spending wolf in sheep's clothing. That ad quickly went viral - largely due to its trippy depiction of so-called "demon sheep."

She did a hell of a job at Lucent (it tanked shortly after her departure but "who knew"?)....

She did one heck of a deal at HP which they have yet to recover from (and likely never will).

John McCain doesn't have to worry about dying in office, thanks in part to this woman.....

And now she wants to do for California what she did for ALL those fine 'institutions'........

She's one very lucky "receptionist".......better 'hold' all calls!

  4. PALIN/BACHMANN 2012!!!

Hugo, Californians pay 116% of the national average in taxes, but receive 88% of the national average in per capita Federal spending. For every dollar Californians sends to Washington we receive only $.76 in return. Maybe that's what makes us "libtards" - we're paying YOUR bills while you insult us.

While Carly Fiorina was working at HP, she made the follwing statements to Congress.

In January 2004, at a meeting to "head off rising protectionist sentiment in Congress," Fiorina said: "There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore. We have to compete for jobs as a nation."

The War against the American worker is being hit on four fronts:

    1. Illegal Immigrants who arrive without visas replace American workers.
    2. Foreign worker get visas that are approved by Congress and The Department of Homeland Security to replace qualified American workers.
    3. Multinational corporations buy American Companies, reduce their U.S. based operations, and move jobs offshore.
    4. U.S. companies eliminate jobs in American and get cheap labor offshore.

How can anyone trust Carly Fiorina, a leader that has declared war against the American Worker?

Thomas Jefferson said, "When the government fears the people there is liberty; when the people fear the government there is tyranny."

    There IS TYRANNY!

    Best Regards,
    Fearless Eagle

California is in an awful condition. Why not vote for the arbritrary "change" mantra there? You all fell for it in 2008, why not now? After all, you only have yourself to blame if you bolster the failed policies of the past in California. A little balance of power is not such a bad thing.
