"Lab testing revealed evidence of a mild heart attack," the statement said. "He underwent a stress test and a heart catheterization. He is feeling good and is expected to be discharged in the next day or two."
During the catheterization, which took place at George Washington University Hospital, doctors examined blood flow to the heart and tested how well the heart was pumping.
In the procedure, a doctor inserts a catheter, a thin plastic tube, into an artery or vein in the arm or leg and threads it into the chambers of the heart or into the coronary arteries. The test can measure blood pressure within the heart and how much oxygen the blood contains.

His cold heart is giving out on him. I'm sure the infamous CIA letter he talks about so much didn't help his heart condition either. If I were A.G., I would've had the arrest warrant by Dick's bedside when he woke up.

I hate to say this.. but couldnt happen to a nicer guy.. Dick Cheney reminds me of a guy named Baria – he was Stalin's right hand man.. given the opportunity, Cheney would be another Baria.
I do not wish harm or ill-health on ANYONE... although Cheney is the type of man that really makes that difficult. Only because of his lack of compassion for the common man, cold, vile ways, that I almost do not feel for his pain, and i almost think it is karma's way of sending him a message before he tries to re-write history in a way that makes him look anything but evil.
The universe is a powerful thing, be careful how you make your way through it....
That man has weathered more heart attacks, they are essentially like a fart to him.

Impossible!! He is anatomicly unequiped to have a heart attack. He would have to have a heart first! He should be waterboarded until he reveals what was really wrong.
Wow! I keep forgetting that Cheney has a heart. Well, I guess that I understand that he has a physical heart. I know that he doesn't have an emotional heart that shows anything like compassion or understanding or morals.

All partisanship aside: The individuals who carry out the nation's most sacred business are asked to handle stressors that few of us could possibly put up with. Whatever our politics-mine are not Republican nor Conservative-I appreciate the great personal sacrifices undertaken, and the toll those sacrifices and demands take. Aside from affecting an entire generation or even entire country, it more greatly affects the families and friends of these otherwise fine, normal, red-blooded Americans.
Let's, please, take the opportunity to pause and reflect on the tone of our national discourse this past year or two.

Cheney says "President Obama will be a one term president" but perhaps he needs to re-think whether he'll be around to see his prediction. God gives us all a chance for redemption and at Cheney's age it's past time for him to get right because he like myself don't have 20 or 50 years ahead of us; we need to make friends instead of enemies.
So he has a heart? Too bad it's totally dysfunctional.
This chicken hawk has caused more grief than any one person should be allowed. I'd say that my best wishes are with his family, but they don't seem any better, especially Liz. Maybe the other daughter, the gay one, has brought an iota of sympathy from him for a group of Americans who are traditionally hated by his ilk.
Hopefully "what goes around comes around" will be true for him sooner rather than later.
