Pawlenty headed back to Iowa

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/07/art.pawlenty.1007.gi.jpg caption="Tim Pawlenty will return to Iowa in April."]Washington (CNN) - Tim Pawlenty's shadow presidential campaign continues.

The Minnesota governor will return to Iowa on April 17 as the keynote speaker at the "2010 Iowa Taxpayers' Day," a Des Moines event put on by Iowans for Tax Relief.

Iowa's Republican gubernatorial candidates will also be at the event.

It's Pawlenty's second trip to Iowa as a potential 2012 candidate; he spoke at an Iowa Republican Party event in Des Moines last November.

Pawlenty should STAY in Iowa. We don't need him to represent us.

He'd better hire a driver, otherwise he may end up in Canada.

Several years ago, I lived in Minnesota for several years. At that time, the people of Minnesota would not have put up with a creep like Pawlenty.

HONESTLY, who the hell cares what "whimpy Pawlenty" is doing? He's a chump and sissy. Look at the man, he's useless.

Pawlenty should go back to Minnesota, even though they don't want him either. He has NO chance of even making the Republican primary. He is a loud-mouthed fool who doesn't get Republicans don't even want him.

Pawlenty – Palin would be the best ticket for the GOP ... and then President Obama can win his re-election with a landslide victory. Palin and Pawlenty are like twins mentally!

Can we expect you to ever come back to MN and be our governor? If you aren;t going to do it, resign. We need a governor.

Shouldn't he be heading back to MN, how long has it been since he's even seen MN? Hard to run a state you're never in, I bet the people of MN are getting tired of him being AWOL.

Doesn't this man have a state to govern??? Pawlenty’s leadership has taken the state of Minnesota from having a financial surplus to having a $5 billion dollar deficit.

He attempted to cut social programs serving the poorest citizens-those with mental illness, homeless, the working poor with no insurance but proposed corporate and small business tax cuts even as the state struggles to keep services like, state parks, schools.

Maybe the people in Minnesota are just as glad he's not in their state!

pawlenty is a low life carpetbagger. This nut job will screw up his own state he doesn't need to worry about the presidency. Maybe he should spend some time working on the jobs bill or health care for Americans instead of trying to run a campaign and complaine about the president. What have the repo accomplished lately as far as bills to help Americans???

Pawlenty is a panderer and a political con-man. He'll tell you what you want to hear, not the truth, which come to think of it, is just what Republicans want in a president.

From a fellow MN citizen. Hey everyone, there is a reason that the VAST majority of these posts are ripping T-Paw. He is a total disaster. This guy will make your skin crawl. We can't wait for him to go!

Didn't T.P. draw a whopping 6 % of the CPAC vote as their contender for president? He should save the state some money and stay home.

TPaw – go back to MN and fix some bridges instead of spending money visiting where you are NOT wanted.

Or put it toward food for the poor - 12 cents a day in your institutions doesn't cut it.
