Perry will now be a strong Repub. presidential contender for the TEA partiers in `12. Ask anyone from Paint Creek, Haskell, or the surrounding area about him. Many say he has forgotten where he came from ( and a lot more ).

Perry won with 51 percent of the vote, that means 49 percent of voters did not want him. I thought Republicans want a 60 percent vote for everything.

The Democrat will win in Nov. 2010. Will Perry concede or do as other Republicans have in the recent pass and protest the results?

No more fear/hate/obstructionist/purity Republicans regardless of what they are running for.

We as a nation need to be running as far away as we can from the fear/hate/obstructionist/purity Republicans.

Gotts love it, during "smaller government" Perry's term in office, the number of Texans employed by the government increased by 300,000 from 1.6 to 1.9 million. That includes 20,000 more federal government employees, 210,000 more local government employees and get this, more than 70,000 additional state government employees – an increase of 22%.

The hypocracy of the right burns brightly!

Good grief. Will the people of Texas NEVER learn? DeLay, Bush, .....the stench of rightwing failure seems to be ingrained on the poor state. The Texicans need to acquire a brain, otherwise we might just put up the border fence in Oklahoma.

Perry is a criminal. Hutchinson is a loser. We need to turn Texas into a BLUE state. Little by little we will make it happen.

The Idiot of Texas overcomes the Dumber than a Box of Rocks of Texas, how cute, the illiterate idiots fighting amongst themselves over who is more qualified, as if either of them would be, but then in brain dead Texas what can you expect, they sent GW Bush to be President and the whole state of Texas should be charged exorbitant tax rates to pay for thier mistake, long into the future, how about 2025? 50% minimum per idiot in Texas which is each and every Texan in the state.

All you Texans out there.........a vote for Bill White is a vote for Texas progress. My observations of him as the Mayor of Houston, was he is a gentle soul, but he is firm. He is practical......he won't rob the taxpayers of $10, 000 a month for an apartment, etc. He's very intelligent and will come up with practical ideas to move Texas forward and redeem our reputation concerning education and healthcare among other things. Please consider Bill White, and when you are in the voting booth, move that dial to his name, and press "CAST BALLOT."
