Palin to testify in e-mail case

Kernell."](CNN) - Sarah Palin and her husband Todd will testify in the federal case against a Tennessee man who allegedly accessed Palin's private e-mail account during the 2008 presidential race, Palin's attorney told CNN Thursday.
"Governor and Mr. Palin have been asked by the U.S. Department of Justice to testify in its ongoing criminal prosecution in the case of U.S. v Kernell," attorney Thomas Van Flein said in a statement. "The Palins expect to testify in person in Knoxville, Tennessee."
The case involves University of Tennessee student David C. Kernell, the 22-year old son of a Democratic state representative.
Kernell was indicted in October 2008 after he allegedly used information freely available online to guess the password to Palin's personal Yahoo! account, the name of which was posted on numerous Web sites at the time. Kernell accessed the account around the same time questions were being raised about Palin's use of personal e-mail accounts to conduct state business as governor of Alaska.
After gaining access to Palin's account, Kernell allegedly reset the password, scanned her account for potentially damaging information and posted the new password to a public Web site.
Federal prosecutors broadened their case against Kernell in 2009, charging him with four felonies: identity theft, wire fraud, computer fraud and obstructing a federal investigation. Kernell has pleaded not guilty to all four counts.
A federal judge has set the trial date for April 20.
Reached by CNN, Kernell's attorney Wade Davies declined to comment on the case.

She will come completely clean with this and it will not stop her from becoming America's next and greatest president. It is part of God's great and grand scheme and plan. God herself let the system collapse and set up Obambi to fail so that she will can put her chosen one Sarah Palin in the Oval Office in 2012 when things will get better and Palin will completely clean up Obambi's and Dubya's mess.
I hope Republicans run this worthless dumb broad. Obama will win all 50 states. Even young children and house pets will probably register to vote just to prevent her from ever coming close to Potus.
Leave to crazy, hateful libs to take an opportunity like this to take yet more pathetic cheap shots at the former governor. Not that this is anything new; she can't sneeze without someone calling her an idiot. Get a life, people. Believe it or not, she's entitled to the same rights and judicial process as anyone else who has their privacy violated.
Other than for the publicity, what possible reason would they need to testify. If there is evidence to the fact that the guy did it, the prosecutors ( or anyone else for that matter) don't need them.

If you are looking for a lie that Palin told, how about that whopper regarding the funds for the "bridge to nowhere"? Claiming that she said "no thanks" to the money for the bridge, yet taking the money to use for other purposes after the bridge was too politically embarrassing to build! There are even pictures of her wearing a t-shirt supporting the building of the bridge.
Stop calling her Govenor! She quit! She gave up on the people of Alaska to go make money for her self. She doesn't deserve or have the right to still be called "Govenor!
