White House reacts to Kucinich

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/03/17/art.kucinich.gi.jpg caption="Rep. Dennis Kucinich announces he will support the health care reform bill."]

Washington (CNN) – Reacting to the announcement by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, that he'll support the health care reform bill even though he doesn't like it, a senior administration official at the White House said "obviously we welcome the announcement and we want everyone to support the bill."

President Obama had been wooing Kucinich, who voted no on the earlier House bill and had been undecided on whether he'd embrace the Senate bill.

The Ohio congressman accompanied Obama on Air Force One Monday for a day trip to his district just outside Cleveland, Ohio. During the flight, White House aides say the president made the case for health care reform.

Obama got some help from audience members at the Strongsville, Ohio event. As the president introduced Kucinich, some in the crowd shouted, "vote yes!" Obama seized the moment by responding, "Did you hear that Dennis? Go ahead, say that again."

Kucinich is only one vote, but he represents progress for the president who has launched a full court press to win over undecided Democrats.

    What a mental furball! Kucinich is so out of touch with Ohio voters it isn't even funny. Anybody who vote for that man is mental.

    I am so disappointed in Mr Kucinich. Just last week he was doing the talk shows blasting this bill and now he is suddenly for it. Very disappointed. We simply can not afford this health care bill at this time and Mr Kucinich knows this. This was the last person I expected to flip-flop.

    Bought votes.....he is weak and spineless.......vote him out.......Vote Republican in 2010 and 2012.......we need to get our America back on the right track.......the economy and jobs should be first, how can an unemployed American pay for his or her health care if he or she is not working......we need term limits so that the crooks that are voted in can then be voted out.......:( 🙂

    I really hope that the Obamas didn't have to promise Kucinich their first grandchild in exchange for a yes vote!

    Another politician who has sold their soul, AGAIN!

    There is a critical need to fix health care insurance but the proposed measures will be laden with heavy, heavy costs. Everything our goverment has touched has cost us more in the end and has slowly taken our freedom of choices away.

    Thank you, Dennis! Those that vote against the uninsured in this country and vote with the insurance companies are going to find themselves on the wrong side of history! Be they Democrat or Republican they are about to learn that lower and middle income Americans are done with getting thrown under the bus by politicians who are in the pocket of the insurance cartel!

    What else did Obama offer him besides a ride on Air Force One? You can't tell me that the payoff was a ride on the plane. Landrieu and the guy from Nebraska at least upped the ante for you.

    Dear Dennis Kucinich: So, you took a ride with Barack on Air Force One and flip-flopped in the sky. Hmm? I wonder what that trip cost the taxpayers? Are you going to tell us what you received?

    Why would anyone vote for or support a bill that they don't like. Why do we elect so many represenatives when there seems to be only 2 voices, democrat and republican. If all democrats or republicans are only going to support and vote for their parties ideas, whether they like them or not, does the name of the politician even matter.

    Seems to me like all of them are more interested in keeping their jobs rather than doing them, but then in todays economy who can blame them.

    Isn't this guy regarded as such a marginal flake that his support mean little, and may in fact be a good reason to oppose something?

    I KNOW YOU PEOPLE WILL NOT ALLOW THIS ONE TO BE POSTED FOR YOU GRAVITATES IN UNREALISTICS...NEVERTHELESS HERE IT IS;

    HARRY REID: CBO numbers are "PRETTY CLOSE"...Actually...another lie, let's call it as it is, 'a lie' , period.

    How many of you out there TRUST THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT?...listen people, even the most ultra-obamanized worshiper do not trust this ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL,ANTI-AMERICAN BAND THERE IN WASHINGTON...they just out of false pride and with very heavy heart say the contrary...those sorry souls are so ashame that don't want to say they are really crying blood for their mistake ...they try hard to fool themselves thinking that if they do not say it the reality does not exist,... and so thay can continue fighting, attempting to defend the indefendable/ 'undefendable'?(whichever word is correct).

    But that is quite understandable for all Obama acolades, surrogates, and die-hard worshipers – (what is left of them) – are in PATHOLOGICAL DENIAL OF REALITY...some sort of 'obamanization-hypnotic trance' might still exist.

    INTERROGANT;

    Would the current admininstration (THE OBAMA GANG) abide with the RESULT OF A NATION-WIDE,COAST-TO-COAST AMERICAN PEOPLE GENERAL REFERENDUM ON THE HEALTH CARE ISSUE?...will they exercise REAL DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH?....do they have the courage to go on this ligitimate path?

    Please consider this;

    ARE YOU WITH ME ON THIS ONE?,,,I just reiterated my point to the 'CORRUPTOCRAT WASHINGTONIANS'

    This is the message sent to every single soul there in Washington,...WHITE HOUSE, CONGRESS, SENATE, SPECIFICALLY THE SO CALLED 'BLUE DOGS DEMOCRATS, SPECIALLY TO HARRY REID AND NANCY PELOSI (just in case they do want to take it directly so they have a 'PS' just for them two).

    Anyway, I wander if the TEA PARTY MOVENT, its members and co-related supporters will mximize action for what is needed to be done,...you know, we all are in htis together if we want to take our country back from the enemies claws;

    So here is the text;

    Sell it President Obama! We need it.

    Challenge democrats who vote no on this bill. Playing politics at a time like this is unjust to the people who elected them.
