However, a review by Congress' budget arm found the revised proposal will have less in new overall savings on student loans over 10 years - $61 billion vs. the original $87 billion - primarily because so many schools have already adopted the program.

This was put in so they can use reconciliation. They couldn't do it with the bill alone because of its cost it can't have the nuclear option by itself. More process magic. I hope they enjoy this little victory. It will have numerous court challenges from states and we will hear more and more about back room deals made. Democrats are done. Obama is a 1 term president.

Cut out the 'middlemen' – the BANKS – is the right thing to do because the BANKS are the cause of the troubles we have now and the BANKS aren't even loaning money to small businesses to survive and the BANKS took taxpayer's money just to give BIG bonuses to the CEOs... Kick them all to the CURB!!

We are on the verge of a big victory for the middle class Americans. The Health care reform along with Finanical Aid reform is a win huge win for The Obama Adminstration.

"We don't care how you get there, just get there".

Big nanny government taking more and more control. Piece by piece, sector by sector! Very scarey and just another example of Comrade Obozo's socialistic master plan. Wake up America!!

2 birds with one stone, we'll pay for your health care and your education. Maybe no one has noticed, but socialism is unsustainable in a bad economy. If you need proof, look at Greece and Germany and France the European country.
