Condoleeza Rice endorses Carly Fiorina for U.S. Senate

CNN) - Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice Tuesday threw her support behind Carly Fiorina's U.S Senate bid.
In endorsing Fiorina Rice said in a statement, "California needs a representative in the U.S. Senate who is prepared to make the tough decisions necessary to address our most pressing challenges, including job creation and national security. Based on my personal experience, I know Carly is the best person to send to Washington to advocate for the people of our great state in the Senate."
Fiorina has previously worked with Rice and said in a statement, "I had the privilege to work with Secretary Rice when I served on the State Department's Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy, and I have great respect for her. I am even more honored to have her support behind my campaign for U.S. Senate."
Fiorina, best known for her role as the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett-Packard, is battling California State Assembleyman Chuck DeVore for the California GOP Senate nomination as well as former Rep. Tom Campbell. The latest polls suggest incumbent Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer may face the toughest re-election fight she's had in recent years.

BTW, we already knew that Condy was a little blind when it comes to judging the character of people who do unethical, underhanded, despicable things. Had I bothered to think about it, I probably would've put money on her endorsing someone who wiretapped her Board of Directors. After all, she helped the Bush administration wiretap the entire nation and then sell rationalizations and justifications for it to us.
Huge endorsement! Congratulations, Carly. We look forward to your victory over Barbara Boxer. She needs to go.
Hysterical! Job creation? Really? Go ask the employees of HP how many people lost their jobs when she was running HP.
Fiscal growth? Go ask the shareholders how much equity was lost at HP while she was boss.
National security? Please. What would Rice know about that? Oh, yea, what was the title on the August 2001 memo titled, Al Qaeda Determined to Attack Inside American.
What did Condi do with that memo?

One thing California DOES NOT need is a former CEO hack who ran one of California's longest running and most respected companies right into the ground. Why do the Republicans think that failed CEOs make good politicians? Oh yeah, they supported Bush too after running every business his daddy gave him into the ground.
We did not miss Condi, so she needs to go back where she has been hiding.
