Washington (CNN) - Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Georgia, is in the hospital.

Doctors believe Isakson has a bacterial infection, according to spokeswoman Joan Kirchner in a statement. Kirchner added that Isakson "is responding very well to the treatment and is feeling much better."

On Monday, Kirchner said, Isakson went to Northside Hospital in Atlanta after feeling sick and dehydrated. She said the senator hopes to recover quickly and return to work.

I guess he is using his socialist medical coverage that I am paying for. Why don't we put him in a ward where he would have to go like the others without insurance until they are stablized and then sent home. Maybe he would appreciate his government insurance.....but then again....he is a republican

Since Mr. Isakson is opposed to health care reform, and against health care for everyone, can we assume that he has given up his government provided health care plan? And that he will be paying his medical care costs out of his own pocket.

Glad to know that the gob'ment socialist benefits he receives are working to his benefit.

Glad to know that many millions of others will now have access to health benefits as well.
