Palin warns of 'Second Holocaust' if Iran gains nuclear weapons

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Just minutes after the clock expired on the first day of Passover, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin issued a biting critique of the Obama administration's Middle-East policy."]Washington (CNN) – Just minutes after the clock expired on the first day of Passover, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin issued a biting critique of the Obama administration's Middle-East policy via her Facebook page.

In a post entitled "Peace Not Possible if Iran Escapes Real Sanctions," Palin accuses President Obama of dropping the pursuit of "crippling" sanctions against Iran and treating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu like an "unwelcome guest" during a recent visit to Washington.

"[J]ust as the Obama administration inexplicably gives up on imposing crippling sanctions on Iran, it's taken an uncompromising hard line against one country in the Middle East: Israel," Palin writes. "On his recent visit to Washington, the Israeli Prime Minister was treated like an unwelcome guest, as shown by White House actions such as refusing to be photographed with Israel's Prime Minister."

Palin argues that the Obama administration's actions have failed to rein in Tehran's nuclear ambitions, and that more than one year into Obama's presidency, his administration has made "no progress" on sanctions.

"The Obama administration has their priorities exactly backwards; we should be working with our friend and democratic ally to stop Iran's nuclear program, not throwing in the towel on sanctions while treating Israel like an enemy."

Palin warns that the consequences of a nuclear Iran would be devastating for Israel.

"Iran's leaders have repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel and with nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, the mullahs would be in a position to launch a Second Holocaust," Palin writes.

"We foresee a regional nuclear arms race beginning as other countries seek their own nuclear weapons to protect themselves from Iran. Nuclear non-proliferation efforts would be over," she added.

Last week, President Obama met at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a meeting that was closed to the press. Netanyahu also met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden during his trip to Washington.

The Israeli leader met with administration officials after a show of solidarity with leaders of Congress from both parties, during which he thanked the U.S. lawmakers for their "constant support" and "unflagging" friendship.

Netanyahu's visit came amid a row over Israel's decision to build new Jewish housing on disputed land in East Jerusalem.

Words from a dummy who knows nothing... Stirring up fear and anger instead of allowing diplomacy to run its course. President Obama is a smart dude. He has plans within plans that the public knows nothing about. Meanwhile, more words from a dummy every week. And we keep talking about her and talking about her... ad nausium.

Palin does not understand the complexities and nuances in dealing with Iran. Her political sloganeering is not helpful nor welcomed.

Palin has no clue what she's talking about, but yet continues to ramble on like a lunatic. I'm so sick of this idiot constantly attacking our country. She's one of those stupid morons who will ALWAYS have something to complain about, and will spew hateful rhetoric and instill fear in people as long as she's in the political arena. She knows nothing of foreign policy, and I'd say her "foreign policy experience" is quite the delusion.

This is down right false and irrisponsible on Palin part. This is why she is on the side line and not the one making policy. Anyone who listens to this nutjob is seriously retarded.

I can't understand why so many people are still behind President Obama after seeing the direction he's forcing our country to go. He's taking an agenda Americans have never felt was right for our democracy/republic and still don't to this day. With total disregard to what Americans retain as their values he just bullies forward turning us into what he and other world powers want, defensless ignored surfs under complete control of government. TV shoiuld be running the old futuristic movies like 1984 and Soyant (sp?) Green in hopes seeing them may spark a realization of the begining of what's coming our way. Where's Hollywood with updated like themed movies when you need them? Afraid? Both parties are equaly guilty of not representing the people as designed but rather representing their party. Represent the people or go home. And that includes POTUS.

Please Sarah, leave diplomacy to the diplomats.
These "crippling" sanctions you want won't be endorsed by China or Russia so what is your point. You remember Russia right ?

You are not a politician or a diplomat. You are a quitter that communicates via my 13 year old & her friend do.
Kind of hard to take that seriously......

    Palin is right.

In regard to countries run by dictators/terrorists--Chavez, Castro, Iranian nutjob, North Korean nutjob--Obama is weak, and wants to be their "friend". ALL of these dictators recognize his weakness, cluelessness--and walk all over him.

Yet, he insults one of our allies--Israel. He also insulted our Eastern European allies last year, when he ended the missile defense system.

The elections of 2010 and 2012 cannot get here fast enough.

Why are we focusing on Israel concerning their plans to build some apartment complexes on their land. Have we assumed that some of Israel's land belongs to Palestine. All of Jerusalem belongs to Israel and they have the right to do whatever they feel is in their best interests on their own property. What any other country or group of Arabs or terrorists whose only goal is to wipe out Israel, wants Israel to do is nothing more than political propoganda and manuvering. Speaking of manuvering, Iran gets an Atom bomb and the whole world will have problems. Give a gun to a murderer and he will murder. Give a nuclear bomb to a terrorist country and they will hold the whole world hostage. I guess when Iran threatens the world with a nuclear bomb, they will blame Israel for that. Muslims whether they are in the Middle East or America or in American politics will always be against Israel. Abraham surely is the father of many nations. One thing will never change and that is Isaac and Esaau and all their descendents will still be fighting over the inheritance. Arabs are known throughout their history to fight everyone and everything. The way of peace they've not known. Nuclear bombs however is a fight nobody can win and the only way to win that fight is to not allow those who live to fight to have nuclear bombs.

Palin uses her sex appeal to incite the testosterone of her ilk. If she was as unattrative as what comes out of her mouth – no one would pay attention –especially the media she courts and which gives her air time ad nauseum.

Sometimes, well all the time I think Palin is wrong. Pres.Obama, was upset with the PM of Israel, because he disrespected VP Biden, by announcing new "settlements" while the VP was on official an business trip to Israel to reignite the "peace process". Israel has done nothing to initiate peace in the Middle East, the people of Palestine deserve there own state, just like the state of Israel. But there has to be a concept called "compromise", and plus who cares about a photo-op...c'mon Palin, now we know why you'll never be President, hate speech doesn't go well with voters.

Does she even have the right country it makes no sense in reality?! OOPS my mistake she has the wrong continent maybe just plain stupid!

She says this while the news is covering stories of Obama pushing hard for sanctions? She has no clue on foreign policy and is just saying this so that she can try to convince the crazies that its Obama's fault if the UN doesn't agree to sanctions
