Palin, Bachmann rally conservatives

Minneapolis, Minnesota (CNN) - Republican hot button Sarah Palin took the stage Wednesday in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, calling on conservatives to "get our country back on the right track."

"It's not going to be easy. This is a challenge," she told the crowd. "The first task is to restore balance and common sense, and the first test will be at the ballot box in November."

The former Alaska governor and current conservative superstar headlined the event hosted by the Republican Party of Minnesota. Her last appearance in Minnesota was for her book tour in December.

Palin also offered a direct thank you to members of the Tea Party movement.

"I thank you for being part of this beautiful grassroots movement that's really sweeping across our country and it is full of common-sense conservatives who are ready to take our country back."

Can someone please put a muzzle on these two EVIL LIARS. Dumb and Dumber are at it again lying and inciting hatred and fear. If it were my guess, I would think Palin is the Anti-Christ and Bachman is the false prophet. I know EVIL when I see it and these two are the epitome.

Palin could care less about a conservative movement. She is capitalizing on her personal monetary fortunes. That is why she quit on the people of Alaska as their governor.

and the "dumbing down of America Tour" continues! Anbody that would pay 10 grand to have their picture taken with these two should be more than willing to buy this swampland I got down here in Texas. In fact with my deal you'd get a BETTER payoff in the long run.

Bachman makes Palin almost appear sane...Bachman is completely out of her mind. She is an embarrassment to her district and the entire state of minnesota. Seriously, what the heck are they putting in the water there!!

Man I wish I was there! My phone has been ringing off the hook! People here in Missouri are very upset and want to do more than sit around drinking coffee discussing how the Dems have been fooled into selling out our country! At least they are now willing to admit we were all duped and they are joining us!!

    I was wondering...
since John McCain is no longer a "maverick" and "never has been;" is Palin still a ",averick," or was she just lying also.

"Superstar"? Politicians–or has-been politicians–as stars is indicative of the immature state of politics in the US. When folks like Palin and Limbaugh, basically entertainers, are thought of as legitimate political voices then we're in trouble. It's become fluff vs. substance. But the real problem is that sooooo many folks feel and think they are substance. When the roots are rotten the plant withers and dies away. So too with democracy.

"People of Minnesota, we are regular peole like you who understand how hard it is in these economic times to support your family, especially those of you without jobs."

Now line up over here, give me 10 grand, and I'll let you stand next to me and take a picture.

    Not too close, though.

Palin is like fingernails on a blackboard. You becha. However, Bachmann makes Palin appear intellegent and rational, and that's no small feat. I hope they're creating a lot of ultra-wacko sound bites that will come in handy in the fall.

Two of the idiots that will destroy the GOP! Get smart and get moderate, or face the consequences of a party ruined by the radial right. Rush Limbaugh told America that he would take down the GOP because they are too moderate. All of the weak knee republicans are now working for him. As long as he and his fellow wannabees like Hannity and Beck continue to make millions off their fascism, the politicians that follow them will suffer. Watch and see!

Get it together CNN. The people who constantly write their left wing garbage here are the reason your numbers are dropping faster than Obamas.
