DNC takes aim at Romney

A DNC Web ad is taking aim at Mitt Romney.

A DNC Web ad is taking aim at Mitt Romney.

(CNN) - The initial stages of the next race for the White House won't gear up for months, but Democrats are already taking aim at one of the Republican Party's most likely presidential hopefuls.

As Senate Democrats are struggling to attract Republican support for their version of a financial reform bill, a new Democratic National Committee web video portrays former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as a longtime defender and beneficiary of Wall Street practices.

Romney does not have an official role in the current financial reform debate, but he has been one of the measure's most vocal critics among those considering a presidential bid.

The nearly 90-second video - titled "Mitt Romney: Wall Street's Best Friend" - highlights several past remarks from Romney defending Wall Street practices and chastising President Obama for comments critical of the banking industry.

Too bad the only way Democrats can get elected is to go out and destroy the opposition. That's what ya gotta do when your own record sucks. We wanted health care reform and financial reform..........but NOT the garbage the Democrats are selling. Democrats are clueless when it comes to anything financial, all they understand is tax and spend......even if it means bankrupting and destroying this country. Next on the agenda to bankrupt America..........Amnesty for illegals and the expansion of the Welfare system to support them.

This can be said of any member of either party democrat or republican. Where do you think billions of dollars in campaign funds come from? We the people do not want to hear or see the finger pointing between the two parties as to who is receiving the most money from Wall Street, we the people want the practice to be stopped all together and have the people's representation focus on the people again.

Nothing like a video which begins with a charlatan like Dick Morris getting a dig in against Mitt Romney. Morris formerly worked for Mike Huckabee so let's not pretend to not know where Morris' bias against Romney is coming from.

Let's also not forget that Dick Morris formerly worked for Bill Clinton until Clinton FIRED Morris for his escapes with a prostitute. Morris now uses his hatred against Clinton to cash in as a Fox News commentator. Morris is an opportunist and a sleazebag of the highest order.

Wall Street is not the enemy. The enemy is democrat policies which inevitably lead to out-of-control entitlements, redistribution of wealth to the unproductive, higher taxes, illegal immigration, loss of jobs, skyrocketing fuel costs and economic chaos.

You want to fix the economy? Cut entitlement spending by 75% and deport all the illegal immigrants...........there's your fix.

Democrats knows very well that Mitt Romney can unseat Obama in 2012. They try to discredit the economic expertise of Romney to hide the incapability of Obama in that area.

  13. thanks, but no thanks

We as a tea party strongly oppose any regulation of wall street. We stand on the principle of being screwed every time by fat cats in wall street. We would not give up on the American way of life. We "the tea bag party" solemnly swear to uphold segregation between the main street and wall street. We are outraged that banks got bailed out, but no regulation is necessary. Long live King George!!!!!!!

I would be more inclined to say that their best friend was the Democrats who they gave the most money to.
