St. Petersburg, Florida (CNN) - Florida Gov. Charlie Crist announced Thursday he would run as an independent candidate in November's U.S. Senate election.
I am a democrat but I will seriously consider voting for Mr. Crist. I respect the fact that he extendn voting hours in 2008 in opposition to his party and that he did veto that crazy bill making teachers the main responsible for failed schools/students. I don't know enough about Meeks yet to make a decision at this time. But, I will consider Crist.
He's right the people should decide not Palin & her group of idiot friends.,

Go for it Charlie, the rodeo clowns from the teaparty can't defeat you, they have no plan or no clue.

Former Republican
Go Gov. Crist!
After correctly vetoing SB6, Crist regained my support. The GOP has unfortunately gone too far right, from a party of Goldwater to DeMint.
Demented, indeed.

Democrats didn't treat Lieberman this way when he supported John McCain ad Lieberman votes with Democrats. Shame on the GOP.

Good move. He will no longer be identified as belonging to the GOP. That will be in his favor.
