Second Palin book due in November

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will release her second book in November, publisher Harper Collins announced Wednesday.
"America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag " will include selections from classic and contemporary readings that have moved her-from the nation's founding documents to great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies," the publisher said in a statement announcing the new book. "The book will also include portraits of some of the extraordinary men and women she admires and who embody her deep love of country, her strong rootedness in faith, and her profound love and appreciation of family. She will also draw from personal experience to amplify these timely (and timeless) themes-themes that are sure to inspire her numerous supporters and all readers across the country."
The second book was inspired by the people Palin met during her 35-city tour in support of her first book, "Going Rogue," Harper Collins also said. The upcoming book "celebrates the enduring strengths and virtues that have made this country great," the publisher added.
"America By Heart" will hit bookshelves on November 23, according to Harper Collins.
Palin has become one of the GOP's biggest stars since being tapped as Sen. John McCain's running mate during the 2008 presidential race. In addition to being an author, the former Alaska governor has become a sought after speaker and a contributor on Fox News. Given her popularity with the GOP's conservative base and with the Tea Party movement, Palin's political future remains the subject of speculation - with many political observers wondering whether her books, speeches, and television appearances are a precursor to a White House bid.

At least this time the media got it right: they state "Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will RELEASE her second book" and they didn't state "Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will WRITE her second book" ... especially since she didn't even write the 1st one. How quaint, a journalist who will just copy other"s works instead of trying to be creative enough to write something original and from the heart. Oh, I forgot who I was talking about for a second ... sorry.
Sarah, you left out 'Guns' from your title.

I am one of those that thinks Palin couldn't run the country better than my cat; however, I'll give her this: the woman knows how to capitalize off an amazing opportunity given to her. In a way, it's become the driving force of our country. You know, being able to take your 5 minutes of fame and run with it. How else would Miley Cyrus still be around? In a weird way, because I extremely dislike most of what Palin stands for, I am cheering her on to make as much money as possible. Because that's exactly what she's doing. She doesn't care about anyone; she's trying to make as much money as she can before people get tired of her. In that regard, I say get yours, girl.

Palin may be a "star" ... (republicans said the same about President Obama – but then that was a bad thing) but I hope she follows the copyright laws – that she won't be claiming other people's ideas as her own ... that will be two books – However the President wrote both – rather than just collecting an anthology ...
does the ghost writer of sarah's book get any credit? how about royalty payments? guess it is easy to just have the money to hire someone and say , "write me a book–let me know when it is finished." she knows all of her worshipers will buy it-wow just like free money.

I don't think anyone who went through 4 different colleges and spent six years to complete a 4 year degree is capable of writing a book. She is probably going to have someone write it for her just like she did on her first book.
although i am not a fan of palin, she sure knows how to cash in on her brand. sarah-you just keep on siphoning money from your dimwit followers. next thing you know she will copyright "sarah palin". that way she can sue everyone who mentions her name with her consent (i.e. paying her first).
