(CNN) - Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson has conceded Kentucky’s Republican Senate primary to Rand Paul.
"We must unite behind Dr. Paul," Grayson said, adding, "We have more things that unite us."
CNN earlier projected Paul, the son of Republican Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, as the primary's winner.
With 49 percent of precincts reporting, Paul led Grayson 59.6 percent to 35.6 percent.
On the Democratic side, also with 49 percent of precincts reporting, state Attorney General Jack Conway led Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo 48.2 percent to 39.7 percent.
I don't think turtle-face can control Paul.

You're next, orange man. Say goodbye.
As an astute reporter predicted earlier, the titanic Dems have just encountered the tip of the Tea Party iceberg!!!! Enjoy the moment, Tea Partiers everywhere!
Congrats tea partiers. You have pushed the party of Lincoln beyond all reason.
I hope that yo will come help my stat's GOP pick it's guy for Governor. That would really help my side.
Evidently Trey Grayson is a class act, unlike Charlie Crist.
Great. How about reporting on the Democratic primary, too? Or is CNN becoming Fox Lite?
