NRCC out-raises DCCC, but trails substantially in cash-on-hand

Washington (CNN) – The House Republican campaign committee raised $2 million more than its Democratic counterpart in April, but Democrats have a nearly $16 million cash advantage over the GOP as the summer approaches.

The National Republican Congressional Committee raised $7.1 million in April and has $11.4 million in the bank, according to data released by the GOP fundraising arm. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $5.1 million over the same time period and has $27.3 million cash-on-hand, according to figures it will report to the Federal Election Commission.

Both committees reported no debt.

In the March fundraising reports, the DCCC raised more than $9.7 million, while the NRCC collected $8 million.

THE DCCC CAN FLOOD THE AIRWAVES ALL DAY LONG with false and misleading ads to their heart's content. The cat is out of the bag, the horses have left the barn, the emperor has no clothes. Do they really think that they can HI-JACK our legislative process and REWRITE the Constitution of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA and we, the people, are going to give them a pass??? Pack up your bags and say your goodbyes. You and your ilk are out on their ear come November. RIP DIMRATS 2010.

I vote no to both parties. The Republican Party has allowed too many religious nuts in and the Democrat Party has become too socialist. I've been a Reagan republican for 25 years but its time for a change. The pParty has strayed from fiscal responsibility and delved too much into peoples personal lives. Missouri is a prime example with the passage of SB586. Unfortunately the Democrat Party is no better with many of the intrusive policies they have either passed or are trying to pass. The Libertarian Party is the only Party out there that seems to want to follow the Constitution anymore. All like minded Republicans and Democrats should look at giving the Libertarian Party a chance, maybe then wr can get government and nutjobs on both sides of the fence out of our lives for good.

Better give what's left to Rand Paul. He's going to need it.

Have they checked any strip clubs lately? Maybe that's where their money is. Also, they need to check ot see if any checks were written to any Rent a Boys or mistresses.

Cause they are too busy blowing it on nudity bars and covering lies. This should tell their followers that they do not know how to handle the bank, but they keep giving the money to them anyway. Dummies

We don't need a lot of campaign spending.......we just need someone on the ballot, besides Dems.

Why does that not surprise me???

The Rethuglicans TALK a good talk about fiscal conservatism, but it is the Democrats who are far better managers, and more fiscally responsible.

Has a Rethuglican ever balanced a budget?

That the Republican National Campaign Committe spent 10 per cent of the cash-on-hand only to lose in PA 12?

Hey CNN, maybe a little more substance to your frothy stories will help you to learn all about "jounalism"
