Palin goes 'rogue' again, backs Didier for Senate

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/05/16/art.palincu0516.gi.jpg caption="Sarah Palin bucked the GOP establishment on Thursday when she endorsed a Tea Party activist."](CNN) - Sarah Palin bucked the GOP establishment on Thursday when she endorsed Washington state Tea Party activist Clint Didier in his bid for the Senate.

On Twitter Thursday, Palin said she is "inspired" by Didier and said he is a "patriot running for U.S. Senate to serve his state & our country for all the right reasons!"

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has heavily recruited another Republican to run in the race, businessman and former gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi. But Rossi, currently a commercial real estate investor, has so far remained uncommitted with only three weeks to go before the June 11 filing deadline.

Didier, a former professional football player, is relatively unknown in the state, registering 26 percent in a head-to-head matchup against incumbent Democratic Sen. Patty Murray who stood at 50 percent. The same poll also showed Murray beating Rossi 51-34 percent.

Didier has already attacked Rossi, painting him as an firmly entrenched in the Republican establishment.

"If people want more of the same, the McCain or Bush type of governing, then they can support Dino," Didier said in a statement earlier this month.

She is such an INTELLIGENT, ACCOMPLISHED POLITICIAN that I would vote blindly for whomever she endorses. NOT!!!!!!! I guess the teabag that she is endorsing according to her own twitter is going to serve his state and his country for all the right reasons!" SOMETHING LIKE SHE DID WHEN SHE WAS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL????? Her reason for living is money, her reason for endorsing candidates is for media coverage of her(and it seems to work every time), and her reason to be reasonable went haywire long ago.

Sarah Palin is a headache...period! Why does the so called liberal media keep giving her a platform? She is dumb as a rock, has the intellect of a utility pole, is not qualified for a thing, yet folks keep stinking a mike in her face and following her around with cameras! My God! She didn't even know that Joe Sustack was running against Sen. Spector! Nice choice for a pundit, Fox!!!

She's a vindictive, clueless psycho. I hope the Republican party finally see her as the self-serving narcissist she is and distance themselves from her...on the other hand, perhaps it will be better if they don't, so that they shoot themselves in the foot in the upcoming elections and President Obama can get back his voting majority.

John McCain opened Pandora's box with Sarah Palin in 2008, this is just the beginning. If Sarah Palin and her Tea Party colleagues get their way, the country will be turned back 60 years. For the record, I'm a conservative!

This is why this woman is awesome. She has no loyalties to any party or lobbyists. Obama on the other hand, was bought and paid for via the corrupt chicago-machine "pay to play" system.
When McCain picked Palin she was HATED by the republican establisment in AK because she exposed and dismantled the corrupt machine up there. After she rid the state of the corrupption she had a 90% approval rating from the people- very impressive.
Where is obama's record of reform in the dirtiest political city in America? Oh yeah, there is no record of him reforming/calling out the "pay to play" system because he used it to get ahead.

How can you distinguish "more of the same", when Dino represents McCain and Bush while Didier represents, doh, Palin, who represents McCain and Bush? Trying to spin Sarah away from McCain might not be as easy as simply endorsing Tea Party candidates.

The Republican party is in a tailspin and there is NO clear way out of the chasm they are digging themselves!

Ms. Palin will say anything anyone will pay her to say, so long as she can use only soundbites and throw trite, and typically inaccurate, barbs and cliches around.

This is a person who is clearly only in it for the money and the notoriety. She has no other redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Who would listen to this clown?

Patty Murray is a great Senator for Washington state. She will win either way. Rossi would probably win a GOP primary however, he is well known here having run for governor in the last two elections and losing both times to Christine Gregoire.

Sarah isn't going rogue, she just is a plain idiot and her actions, I hope, will undermine the republican Party (Party of No) so that it won't be able to win anything in November.
