To lower or eliminate the Federal deficits, the Federal government should start a national lottery with the weekly prizes being Federal income tax free. The prizes could range from small to large depending upon the cost of the ticket. The tickets could be sold at various U.S. Post Offices in each county of the country.Imagine how many tickets would be sold to win a million dollars or more, which was tax free.

According to the quiz, In 12 of the last 74 years, US had an annual surplus. That means 62 out of the last 74 years, we had an annual deficit. So why is this suddenly a huge deal AS SOON AS Pres. Obama came into office – mind you during the worst recession since the great depression? I am hopeful that people are smarter than that to not look through this.

Moreover, maybe at least 3 or 4 of those 12 years of surplus came in during the Pres. Clinton's second term. At the time, the taxes were higher for the rich. So from that, we can probably conclude that by allowing the Bush tax cuts to Expire – 3% increase in the top 1% of America – would actually be the best way to reduce the annual deficit. The funny thing is even after that, the tax rate for the rich would not be as high as it was for those top 1% in the "surplus' days.

You want to solve the deficit problem, here is what you do. 1. You cut all spending (including social security, medicare, defense, welfare, education) by 2% each year over the next 5 years for a total cut of 10% across the board....You raise all people taxes (rich and poor) by 2% per year each year for a total of everyone paying 10% more.

After that 5 years our economy will be out of a recession, our government will be smaller, more people will be working, less will be dependent on the government, more people will pay taxes and all people will be paying more taxes.....and I guarantee you that there would no longer be a deficit...then we can focus on "out growing" the debt over the next 50 years.

The problem in this country is we have too many lazy people who want free money, free food, free healthcare and not enough people working and paying taxes. The solution is simple but painful, lets do it!

to do is what kind of education you have to offer to my kids then
how many pot holes your streets have and what condition your
park is in were my kids are going to play you see its simple math
when you cut something someone is bound to get hurt as long as
