Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet with President Obama in Washington on Thursday.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet with President Obama in Washington on Thursday.

Washington (CNN) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet U.S. President Barack Obama for talks at the White House on Thursday after taking a technology tour of California a day earlier.

After the leaders have lunch, Obama will attend a U.S.-Russia business summit at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, Medvedev visited Cisco Systems for the company's announcement of a $1 billion investment in Russian projects. He sent his first Twitter message after the meeting.

"Greetings to everyone, I'm at Twitter and this is my first message," the Russian leader tweeted from Twitter headquarters in San Francisco. Medvedev also posted a photograph of the "view outside my hotel window" in San Francisco and another of himself greeting Twitter employees from the new @KremlinRussia account.

The president of Russia tweeting? I love it. I think we have to give Ronald Reagan credit for thawing the old Soviet Union. I'm not a Republican, God forbid, but the one thing Reagan achieved was warming up relations between our two countries. Have a good visit in American President Medvedev.

The current Rethugliklan party could take some lessons in building up instead of tearing down.

We need a US, Russia, France, Britian, Germany, Japan, Isreali and Indian coalition that bombs all nuclear sites and missile sites and air defense systems in Iran. This group could destroy the Iranian threat and set them back 10 years militarily in one week without losing a single coalition life. Lets discuss this at the meeting and lets get it done!

Is that a slide rule he's holding?

I understand things have been a little chaotic in Russia since 1990, but surely they've managed to retain the technology to build calculators! 🙂
