Biden heads to Wisconsin to assist Feingold

Biden heads to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to headline a fundraiser for fellow Democrat Russ Feingold. The three-term senator is up for re-election this year. He'll face off in the general election in November against businessman Ron Johnson, who last month won the Wisconsin Republican party's endorsement, or businessman David Westlake. Those two candidates will face off in the GOP primary held on September 14.
"Feingold's maverick image fits well in his state, but he has never won by a huge margin," says Stuart Rothenberg, publisher and editor of the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report.
Rothenberg lists the contest as Democrat favored. Another well respected non-partisan political handicapper, Charlie Cook, lists the seat as safe for the Democrats.
On Monday, Biden was in Chicago, serving as the main attraction at fundraisers for Alexi Giannoulias, the Democratic Senate nominee in Illinois, and Dan Seals, the Democratic nominee for the House seat in Illinois 10th congressional district. Next week he's scheduled to travel to Indiana and Ohio to help raise campaign cash for fellow Democrats.
Next Wednesday President Barack Obama visits southeastern Wisconsin, to discuss the economy. It's not known if Feingold will attend that event. The senator is on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is holding confirmation hearings next week for the Elena Kagan nomination to the Supreme Court.

The economy is recovering, but slowly due to the blood alcohol poisoning it induced when the GOP was in charge of everything. Obama just imposed strong sanctions against Iran with a lot of international backing. People like you are too dumb to understand the gravity and incalculable scope of destruction this oil spill caused due to the GOP policy that went unhindered for decades, of "The U.S. Government Shall Not interfere with Giant oil companies expolitation of our non-renewable natural resources. You must be upset beacuse you work at a BP gas station that sells Fox News tabloid magazines and business is down at the moment because BP is trying to cover-up, uh-hem, I mean recover from their poluuted public image, while pretending to care about fixing the spill.
This is a no brainer, Feingold will win.
Feingold is a good man and will win in November.
Mr. Vice President, I know I speak on behalf of multiple people, but you need to really be doing your job in DC. I know that congress is out, but hey in case you haven't heard...we have a Gulf Crisis going on with oil. And yeah, in case you didn't remember we have conflict in Afghanistan that needs some attention to make our July 2011 deadline.
I do like how the President got squirrelly about the July 2011 date. Basically, he said don't expect a full withdrawal, but more a gradually decline. So if he removes one person on July 11th, then he has fulfilled his promise for a reduction...hah.
There he goes again, trying to save Obama's bacon. Biden's a joke just like this whole administration.

Feingold was the only guy in the Senate with the sack to vote against the biggest federal government power grab of our lifetimes in the form of the Patriot Act.
If that doesn't win him a lifetime pass from you, you don't love freedom.

This is good news for the GOP, this will remind the voters, who shoved down our throat the failed stimulus package, the healthcare plan with reconciliation instead of the traditional 60 votes, the takeover of an auto industry, the party that wants illegals to become legal citizens, the party of socialism and marxism, the party that wants to change the rules that made this country great for 200 years into the rules that have proven to destroy countries with MASSIVE DEBT, that is unsustainable and is taking down the financial road of hell and collective pain with high taxes and misery.
