'Real Sharron Angle' website back up

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/07/art.therealsharronangle.trsa.jpg caption=" Nevada Democrats have re-posted a website of information that was originally posted on Sharron Angle's pre-primary website."](CNN) - The punches keep coming in the political fistfight over a website claiming to spotlight "the real Sharron Angle."

Nevada Democrats have re-posted www.therealsharronangle.com.

This after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's campaign dropped the site briefly following a "cease and desist" letter from Sharron Angle's campaign.

Angle, Nevada's Republican Senate nominee, is challenging Reid, the top Democrat in the Senate, in this November's midterm elections.

After winning the June 8 Republican primary in Nevada, Angle took down her pre-primary website and re-launched a new glitzier and slimmer version. The new site offered a trimmed down version of where the candidate stands on the issues, no longer including her position on the nuclear waste dump facility at Yucca Mountain and her calls to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education.

Her original website was re-purposed by the Reid campaign as http://www.therealsharronangle.com. Angle's campaign says their "cease and desist" letter forced the Reid camp to take down a website that they say falsely represents itself as Angle's campaign website.

"Make no mistake, the Reid campaign was forced to take this site down because they were breaking several laws and trying to deceive the voters. You're going to see a lot of dirty tricks like that from Reid's campaign," said Angle campaign spokesman Jerry Stacy on Tuesday. "This is a clear case of a desperate man doing desperate things to win."

But a few hours later, the Reid campaign re-posted the website.

"Out of an abundance of caution, the Reid campaign decided to temporarily remove the website in question while we investigated their allegations. Well, the phony legal threats and the feigned indignation are over – and we're not going to let Sharron Angle retroactively censor Sharron Angle. The original website, including Angle in her own words on her dangerous and extreme agenda, has been re-launched," the Reid campaign said in a statement.

Wednesday morning, Angle responded, suggesting possible legal action.

"We are going to pursue it. I don't think that Harry is above the law," Angle said in an interview with Nevada radio host Heidi Harris on KDWN.

"Attorneys will determine if Reid's campaign is in compliance. A major concern was protecting the privacy of the citizens who may have been submitting confidential data to the Reid campaign under false pretenses," adds Stacy, in a statement to CNN.

Polls indicate that Reid, who's bidding for a fifth term in the Senate, faces a very difficult road to re-election, thanks in part to the anti-incumbent feeling in the nation and the tough economy, which is hitting Nevada especially hard. Nevada leads the nation with the highest statewide unemployment rate.

Thursday President Obama travels to Las Vegas to team up with Reid at a campaign rally.

I'd take Harry Reid any day over this zealous, right-winged, tea bagging idiot.

Sharron Angle is a twit and she just wants to hide her extreme right-wing views during the general election campaign. The GOP invented hardball politics like this and now they have to live with it. Too freaking bad...

Lots more "Dirty Tricks" coming from Reids campaign. He will say or do anything to get re-elected and he has lots of help from the Big Pharma companies he helped in the Health Care Bill. He and the Dems are embarking on the biggest smear campaign in history, right from the Washington Post's story.

Why is it that the United States leaders can sing Kum bay ya with the rest of the world; but always seems to forget the verses when it comes to working together for the common good the American people?

These are Angle's own words (verbatim) and should be held accountable to that record. Voters deserve to know Angle's positions on privatizing Social Security, bringing back prohibition, eliminating the Dept. of Education & EPA in the face of our Gulf situation. Angle's misguided extremes are not representative of mainstream America.

Why are you so afraid of your own webiste, Sharon? Why are you so afraid of the media, Sharon? Why won't you grant some interviews to anyoen but FAUX news, Sharon?

Leave it to democrats to keep the focus off the issues and leave it to the media to keep distorting what she said.

Reid thought the US government with Bush was equal to Hitler. Reid is the dillusional idiot that embarasses both Nevada and the nation.

Democrats simply cannot handle hard facts.

So all those 'independents' and loyal GOP members are angry with the government because of the lousy economy... so they are going to vote for crackpots like Angle and other rightwing zealots who caused this lousy economy in the first place (Bush's 2 wars combined with Bush's tax cuts for the uber-rich).

I thought elephants were supposed to have good memories. Just a bunch of stupid (bigoted) elephants apparently. Ignorance is definitely not bliss for those of us who are working very hard to repair this country. The GOP and the 'anti-regulations' tea party have caused so much pain.. and continue to do so.

Have you so called right wing nuts ever taken a step back and taken a look at your idiotic comments???

A freaking 2 year old has more sense, kind of like that commercial, even kids know when they are being taken advantage off, except the people who listen to El Drugo Rushbo...

But that is OK, you just make sure you stand up for big oil, insurance companies, and everyone else who is robbing you dry, because they really need someone to stand up for them, in the name of "Capitalism", morons, LOL

While you're at it, why don't you just go along and answer those Princess adds from Nigeria.

I read the website. If it is accurate, can you tell me where I can donate to her campaign?

Limited government. Lower taxes. Individual rights. What's not there that a rational person can't support?

Can't wait to see whatever else you righties can think up to humor your base before the November elections!

Never trust anyone with beady eyes(Angle, Bush etc), fake bronze tan (Boehner. Romney etc), has no chin (McConnel, McCain etc) and believes in selling their own mother for profits (the whole Republican Party).

Angle is not a conservative. The real old time conservatives are intelligent thoughtful people. She is an ignorant agitator with no constructive solutions to Nevada’s or the nations huge economic problems.

Exactly how is Angle's position of governmental intrusions into the very private lives of women & families considered so-called "limited government?" It's not.

I hope everyone remembers this in November and please show up and vote. I do not agree with everything the Democrats have done but at least they are trying to get the country back on track. The only thing the Republicans care about is winning.

Phoenix86, when you had your lobotomy, just how much of your frontal lobes did the good doctors remove?

I'm asking because I'm comparing your nonsensical comments to those of Sharon Angle's to decide just how much of her brain is missing.

Typical Democrat reaction. Reid certainly cannot stand on his own merits so he has to play dirty tricks to try and trick the unintelligent. In fact you clearly MUST be unintelligent to even CONSIDER voting for Harry Reid. What a corrupt and vile individual........

Poor Harry knows he will follow Tom Daschle's footprints and so now
he wants to go down in flames. Poor Barrack savors every minute he's
away from Washington. Can't wait to have him visit my state in a futile
attempt to save another vulnerable incumbent, Boxer.

Sharon Angle said on the radio (Heidi Harris Show of course) this morning, that Harry Reid is just "trying to smear" he record, and won't debate the issues !!!!

Harry Reid would mop the floor with this dingbat in a debate!!

And, I would pay money to see that!

Gotta love the baggers, Sarah should be their leader. And change the name to the "Crack Head Party"
