(CNN) – In what has the familiar feel of a classic campaign commercial, Sarah Palin's political action committee is out with its first web video Thursday that is heavily laden with the former Alaska governor's appearances at political events and Tea Party rallies over the past year.
The nearly two-minute video, called "Mama Grizzlies," features a portion of a speech Palin gave before the Susan B. Anthony List in May, during which she told the anti-abortion rights women's group, "It seems like it's kind of a mom awakening in the last year and a half where women are rising up and saying, 'No, we've had enough already.'"
"This year will be remembered as a year when common sense conservative women get things done for our country," Palin is also heard saying. "All across this country, women are standing up and speaking out for common sense solutions."
The video also celebrates the former Alaska governor as well as her female supporters, splicing together several images of Palin delivering speeches before cheering crowds, sitting for television interviews, and shaking enthusiastic supporters' hands – all amidst inspirational music.
"We're gonna do something about this. We're going to turn this thing around," Palin tells a roaring crowd as she sounds familiar themes of a stump speech. "We're going to get our country back on the right track, no matter what it takes, to respect the will of the people. Look out, Washington, cause there's a whole stampede of elephants crossing the line, and the E.T.A. stampeding through is November 2, 2010."
"Lot of women coming together," Palin says as the video comes to a close.
Palin posted the new video on her Facebook page early Thursday morning, telling supporters to "Enjoy the video and please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you and for you to take back our country!"
The former Republican vice presidential nominee has remained firmly in the national spotlight since resigning her post as governor one year ago, thanks to television appearances, a national book tour, speaking engagements, and social media outlets.
Update 3:30 p.m. ET: Sarah Palin released a statement to CNN about her new web video.
"Sending my own message, minus the media filter, is a valuable way to remind voters that they have great choices in these upcoming mid-term elections. The tools I'll use, like this energetic video that showcases commonsense Constitutional conservative women, will highlight a significant movement in our nation as we advance ever closer to what will be historic 2010 elections," Palin said.
Fun woman, not ready for the white house....she needs to support a good candidate, not be the candidate.
Will she ever go away?
This woman is living proof of PT Barnum's wisdom. "Every crowd has a silver lining."
Please just go away Sarah you are an embarrassment.
Based on her driving the town of Wasilla into a deep deficit despite her getting Federal "pork" for it (isn't that "socialism"?), her breathtaking ineptitude during the Presidential race, and her life history of quitting EVERY job she's held, what would this woman know about "common sense"?
Please run you stupid idiot.
Please run Sarah! This will ensure the Dems stay in Power!
Just what we need to help us through 2 wars and an economic crisis–more cliches and an uneducated liar who wouldn't know the truth if God called her on her cell phone.
So glad to get my news updates from the Daily Palin. I MEAN, from CNN's Political Ticker.
Hey, CNN. Have your ratings gone into negative numbers yet?
If the repubs are so anit-abortion then how come when they controlled the WH, Congress AND the Supreme Court from 2000-2006 they DID NOTHING to end abortion.
Isn't this boob yesterday's news yet?
YAWN
Rule, via Idiocracy, coming soon to the USA. Mike Judge was right!
Rule by idiots.
RUN in 2012!!! PLEASE!!!
And KILL the GOP forever!!!!
Pitbulls? Grizzely bears? Shooting wolves from a helicopter?
Doesn't appeal to me - or my family - violence is NOT the way to "earn" respect and knowledge. Bullying, over-bearing attitudes are not good at any age. Especially for women. What a total idiot.
So she's probably running for President. So what? Her approval ratings outside the Dominionist/lunatic fringe of the Republican Party are abysmal.
Palin will never have the credentials to be a serious presidential candidate. She is an animated political character created by a creative team of publicity and political consultants.
I wish I could attend 4 different universities until I found one with standards low enough to let me graduate.
I'd really like to know what some of the things commonsense conservative women have done for our country are. Please enlighten us, Sarah.
Hmmmm...common sense without a clue. I guess that happens when you grow up and live in an isolated region you tend to form ideas that may seem intellegent but are so far off the grid they have no conceptual reality. Too bad she and her supporters are in a fantasy world about how stuff works. They want to change the world by destroying it. No thanks, please go home, don't turn on the TV because that's obviously where their life concepts come from.
What I can't figure out is why anyone listens to anything Palin has to say.
UUUgh. Go away already. You and your scumbag family
I hope she runs at the Republican national level in the next election cycle.
Sarah Palin is an intelligent, moral, capable politician. It is a shame that the country doesnt like these qualities in their leaders.
I'd be impressed if she included clips from her Gibson/Couric interviews. Those are classic!
Mama grizzlies? Give me a break! More like Mama dramas. Who needs the drama?
