Palin releases web video with campaign feel

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/08/art.palin.cnn.jpg caption =" Palin is out with her first Web video that has the feel of a campaign commercial."]

(CNN) – In what has the familiar feel of a classic campaign commercial, Sarah Palin's political action committee is out with its first web video Thursday that is heavily laden with the former Alaska governor's appearances at political events and Tea Party rallies over the past year.

The nearly two-minute video, called "Mama Grizzlies," features a portion of a speech Palin gave before the Susan B. Anthony List in May, during which she told the anti-abortion rights women's group, "It seems like it's kind of a mom awakening in the last year and a half where women are rising up and saying, 'No, we've had enough already.'"

"This year will be remembered as a year when common sense conservative women get things done for our country," Palin is also heard saying. "All across this country, women are standing up and speaking out for common sense solutions."

The video also celebrates the former Alaska governor as well as her female supporters, splicing together several images of Palin delivering speeches before cheering crowds, sitting for television interviews, and shaking enthusiastic supporters' hands – all amidst inspirational music.

"We're gonna do something about this. We're going to turn this thing around," Palin tells a roaring crowd as she sounds familiar themes of a stump speech. "We're going to get our country back on the right track, no matter what it takes, to respect the will of the people. Look out, Washington, cause there's a whole stampede of elephants crossing the line, and the E.T.A. stampeding through is November 2, 2010."

"Lot of women coming together," Palin says as the video comes to a close.

Palin posted the new video on her Facebook page early Thursday morning, telling supporters to "Enjoy the video and please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you and for you to take back our country!"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee has remained firmly in the national spotlight since resigning her post as governor one year ago, thanks to television appearances, a national book tour, speaking engagements, and social media outlets.

Update 3:30 p.m. ET: Sarah Palin released a statement to CNN about her new web video.

"Sending my own message, minus the media filter, is a valuable way to remind voters that they have great choices in these upcoming mid-term elections. The tools I'll use, like this energetic video that showcases commonsense Constitutional conservative women, will highlight a significant movement in our nation as we advance ever closer to what will be historic 2010 elections," Palin said.

Palin wants to return the country to what it once was.

A vast wasteland covered with ice.

Justice official alleges rampant racism in the DOJ – not a story. CNN editor fired for pro-terrorist remarks on Twitter – not a story. Sarah Palin makes a video – Page One, so all the liberal haters can slither out from under their rocks and post hateful comments. Does anyone here understand why the public distrusts the leftstream media?

Kinda getting tired of the Palin news. She's hiding behind Facebook and Twitter and wouldn't talk to the "lamestream" media unless they are from Fox News. This woman is an idiot; the only person who has realized that is Palin herself.

Some years back we elected Mike Harris a conservative as primier of ontario who's slogan was "THE COMMONSENCE REVOLUTION".

It was and was a disaster which we are still suffering from about ten years later.

    Buyer beware!

"Until I decide it's too tough or unprofitable then I'll quit and blame it on the lame stream media". THIS WOMAN IS AN IDIOT.

A good percentage of Smart women in this country are really offended by this woman. If she had moved to the center like Reagan then she might have had some respectability but, she went full on raging righty.

Common sense conservative women is an oxymoron. Nothing against women or common sense, but when it comes to Palin it is just all nonsense. Any woman feeding into her drivel would be your basis under-achiever. She is interested in nothing more that taking YOUR hard-earned money and putting it into HER pocket. Typical converative thinking. How are you feeling today? Better than when W took over and wrecked the economy?

What a scary thought! Sarah as president! If this does happen we will have moved back to the dark ages. I'm all for common sense, I just don't think Sarah has it.

Please, please let's not vote for her!

I love it how Palin calls herself a "Mama Grizzly", but goes running for shelter whenever some meanie in the press asks her a tough question, like "What newspapers do you read?".

So now a pro-life organization is an "anti-abortion rights" group. Does that make the other side an "anti-life group"? No bias here, CNN reports straight down the middle. "WE decide, you accept."

Who cares. She doesn't stand a CHANCE at becoming president. She just plain won't be elected...period.

Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, Please Run, PLEASE RUN!!!

I don't think it will help the actual Tea Partiers, but it might get America to relax a bit about them:
If America can see that Sarah Palin is NOT presidential material, not Presidential, MAYBE we'll let her slip into the dustbin of history where she belongs. She quit her leadership role to go for the money. It appears that she doesn't read much (maybe "My Pet Goat") and, while she says some things that would be good for the country, I'm not sure she really cares if they get done.
I'm betting that if she ran, the brass ring wouldn't be winning the White House, it would be the millions in a book deal, whether she won or not (NO CHANCE of winning).
She has shown herself to be vindictive (brother in law thing), self serving (quitting the Governor's office thing) and not particularly engaged (Katie Couric thing).

    Please help me I'm confused...

    Mamma Grizzly?
    Pitbull with Lipstick?
    Barracuda?

All of these labels are okey dokey, fine and dandy with her but God forbid someone should use the old adage "putting lipstick on a pig"
around her or she'll get offended?

    And "common sense conservatives"?

Doesn't she mean conservatives that have the exact same beliefs as her?

There were images of Palin "sitting for television interviews?" What television interviews? All she ever appears on is Fox News. Gimme a break. If she thinks she's going to run for national office, one thing she has to do is actually allow herself to be interviewed by someone of substance – like on the Sunday morning talk shows. Does anyone actually think she can hold her own on Meet the Press? Really? Why is this imbecile continuing to be covered by the media. She has nothing to offer us except really dumb, simplistic "thoughts" on her view of America. SOmebody in the media please pull the plug on this dimwit. Please.

Lots of talk, but where's a plan, where's any ideas?
All the Republicans do is bash Obama, and say that they're gonna to turn things around. HOW?
Like dah, yes we would be better off with less spending, but what gets cut out? They're all about bashing, but not solutions.

She really needs to call is quits..What makes her think she can even think of running for Pres, whsn she couldn't even be a small town Gov..I guess she has never heard of the saying " Quitters never win "..Now that is a great campaign slogan that maybe she should use !!
