Palin releases web video with campaign feel

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/08/art.palin.cnn.jpg caption =" Palin is out with her first Web video that has the feel of a campaign commercial."]

(CNN) – In what has the familiar feel of a classic campaign commercial, Sarah Palin's political action committee is out with its first web video Thursday that is heavily laden with the former Alaska governor's appearances at political events and Tea Party rallies over the past year.

The nearly two-minute video, called "Mama Grizzlies," features a portion of a speech Palin gave before the Susan B. Anthony List in May, during which she told the anti-abortion rights women's group, "It seems like it's kind of a mom awakening in the last year and a half where women are rising up and saying, 'No, we've had enough already.'"

"This year will be remembered as a year when common sense conservative women get things done for our country," Palin is also heard saying. "All across this country, women are standing up and speaking out for common sense solutions."

The video also celebrates the former Alaska governor as well as her female supporters, splicing together several images of Palin delivering speeches before cheering crowds, sitting for television interviews, and shaking enthusiastic supporters' hands – all amidst inspirational music.

"We're gonna do something about this. We're going to turn this thing around," Palin tells a roaring crowd as she sounds familiar themes of a stump speech. "We're going to get our country back on the right track, no matter what it takes, to respect the will of the people. Look out, Washington, cause there's a whole stampede of elephants crossing the line, and the E.T.A. stampeding through is November 2, 2010."

"Lot of women coming together," Palin says as the video comes to a close.

Palin posted the new video on her Facebook page early Thursday morning, telling supporters to "Enjoy the video and please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you and for you to take back our country!"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee has remained firmly in the national spotlight since resigning her post as governor one year ago, thanks to television appearances, a national book tour, speaking engagements, and social media outlets.

Update 3:30 p.m. ET: Sarah Palin released a statement to CNN about her new web video.

"Sending my own message, minus the media filter, is a valuable way to remind voters that they have great choices in these upcoming mid-term elections. The tools I'll use, like this energetic video that showcases commonsense Constitutional conservative women, will highlight a significant movement in our nation as we advance ever closer to what will be historic 2010 elections," Palin said.

Amazingly positive and inspirational video. Mom's all over America should be worried about Obama's far-left job destroying agenda. Sarah Palin is the alternative America needs in 2012 and we expect her to win!!

Oh my God! Is she ready to stock up on 3 X 5 cards again? Has she read a political science book yet or know what a newspaper is besides the tabloids she's on the front page of every day?

God help America by making this dumb woman fall off a cliff.

    In Jesus name – AMEN

Common sense? If you don't want an abortion, don't have one. Lobbying against your sex's own reproductive rights is not common sense.

And "common sense" and "Sarah Palin" just don't belong in the same breath.

Saint Sarah just can't get it through her head that the last election WASN'T stolen, rigged, or some kind of fluke. The MAJORITY decided they were through with lies, incompetence, and meaningless sound bites, and wanted a President that would actually try to accomplish something FOR the American people, and not QUIT when faced with a hard choice. Face it TeaBaggers, Obama got things done DESPITE the Party of NO, and your ignorant rantings about birth certificates, Hitler, and socialism. Why would anyone choose Sarah the Quitter over that?

Oh god. anyone who falls for this woman's BS really really should be required to take an IQ test before voting. The people that watch Fox News and love Glenn Beck... those people really scare me. Sarah Palin is a moron riding on this wave of publicity. She stands for nothing and is a power hungry moron. I really wish people would truly see these republicans for who they really are. They do not give a crap about your life and your situation. they're demagogues feeding off religious fervor and using scare tactics like "oh, sweet jesus... we're losing our country. we want our country back!"... it's highly irritating that supremely ignorant people are being preyed on for votes.

The only good thing about Sarah is that she is draining money away from the right wing nut jobs and wasting it on a doomed career.

Palin quit the Governorship because of all those law suits brought on by the crooked politicians of Alaska she was working to clean up. They brought her to financial ruin to get rid of her. Many ignorant people still believe evil of this woman even though all but one suit was in court struck down as false. These are the same minded people who rally around their preferred political party (both fit) rather than America. Even after Johnston admitted his accusations about the Palins were lies some blind sheep still follow the attackers. Some still pay homage at the alter of The Oval Office refusing the obvious, that we made a huge mistake and Obama is going to drag down his party as sacrificial lambs for his own agenda. Smarten up people.

Here we go again, Palin one day , two days, everyday...
It would be just great if Palin would use some of that commonsense conservatism to lose herself in the dark room of the conservative party , never to be seen or heard of again.... Then we could concentrate on taking back the country from the dummies and bigots!!!

Sarah Palin is a very attractive lady. I think we need to nickname her "Scarf", because every time she goes outside without one, her skull whistles.

Its just fine to bash baby seals brains in, in Alaska,as long as you cater to the one issue voters across the country for large sums of cash for your personal bank acct. She proves seals are smarter than humans, and have a greater role in the Earths ecosystem.Humans have proven to be more of a Virus to the Earth.

O.k. I am sure she represents all "American" women, so where are they.

These women look just like her can she only mirror herself.

If you consider this her best example of “her” America, then I see how easy it is to discount all the other suffering Americans who do not “look” like her.

If Palin thinks common sense solutions include gun rights for those who shouldn't have the right there is something she should know. I lost my husband to a gun shot, in the line of duty, as a police offcer. People who have not experienced such a loss should keep their mouths shut regarding gun rights. Palin is out for herself and the ching ching as she goes to the bank. Wake up WOMEN and see this woman for what she is.
