Palin releases web video with campaign feel

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/08/art.palin.cnn.jpg caption =" Palin is out with her first Web video that has the feel of a campaign commercial."]

(CNN) – In what has the familiar feel of a classic campaign commercial, Sarah Palin's political action committee is out with its first web video Thursday that is heavily laden with the former Alaska governor's appearances at political events and Tea Party rallies over the past year.

The nearly two-minute video, called "Mama Grizzlies," features a portion of a speech Palin gave before the Susan B. Anthony List in May, during which she told the anti-abortion rights women's group, "It seems like it's kind of a mom awakening in the last year and a half where women are rising up and saying, 'No, we've had enough already.'"

"This year will be remembered as a year when common sense conservative women get things done for our country," Palin is also heard saying. "All across this country, women are standing up and speaking out for common sense solutions."

The video also celebrates the former Alaska governor as well as her female supporters, splicing together several images of Palin delivering speeches before cheering crowds, sitting for television interviews, and shaking enthusiastic supporters' hands – all amidst inspirational music.

"We're gonna do something about this. We're going to turn this thing around," Palin tells a roaring crowd as she sounds familiar themes of a stump speech. "We're going to get our country back on the right track, no matter what it takes, to respect the will of the people. Look out, Washington, cause there's a whole stampede of elephants crossing the line, and the E.T.A. stampeding through is November 2, 2010."

"Lot of women coming together," Palin says as the video comes to a close.

Palin posted the new video on her Facebook page early Thursday morning, telling supporters to "Enjoy the video and please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you and for you to take back our country!"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee has remained firmly in the national spotlight since resigning her post as governor one year ago, thanks to television appearances, a national book tour, speaking engagements, and social media outlets.

Update 3:30 p.m. ET: Sarah Palin released a statement to CNN about her new web video.

"Sending my own message, minus the media filter, is a valuable way to remind voters that they have great choices in these upcoming mid-term elections. The tools I'll use, like this energetic video that showcases commonsense Constitutional conservative women, will highlight a significant movement in our nation as we advance ever closer to what will be historic 2010 elections," Palin said.

That's a joke. If this woman thinks any sane person would vote for her, she really is as stupid as she acts. Let her rant and rave though. It makes the Republican Party look as bad as they truly are and helps the Democrats take back the full majority and gets our legislative process back on track without the obstruction of the Party of NO and We Don't Give a Damn about the People.

Common sense solutions? The only thing that comes out of her mouth are lies and mis-guided rubish. Not solutions.

This woman – I refuse to use her name- is not qualified for any office and may well be the person who ruins the change in existing politician that we are trying to get rid of. Hopefully she will not be able to get anything started before November when we get all the politicians who have put us in the hole out in the street- make a change regardless of party bur remember not to give the democrats all the conrtol they need. Leave Palin for the comedy shows.

Another day, another Sarah Palin story on the CNN.com homepage...why is a 2-minute video called "Mama Grizzlies" national news?

The only reason Palin has remained "firmly in the national spotlight since resigning her post as governor one year ago" is because CNN insists on covering her on a daily basis.

Yes women are standing up and saying "they have had enough"! They are sick and tired of being told they have the right to choose what to do with their bodies. I love how these hard right republicans shout PRO-LIFE, yet they are totally against helping the less fortunate (welfare, etc...). What do you think is going to happen when people who cant afford a child is forced to have one?

I cant wait for the day when people wake up and realize this women is an empty suit... She's the female Mitt Romney

Yes, please run Sarah, I want to see you win and then become the huge flop you'll inevitably be. Thanks CNN for never turning your bright lights away from this woman.

One of my fondest political wishes is that the Republican Party have Sarah Palin as their candidate. I can think of no better way to keep them out of the White House and for Republican congressional candidates to suffer because of Palin heading the Republican candidates. While I want this to happen, I am saddened that there are so many people in our Country that seem to prefer loud mouth ignorance over intellegence and people of substance. This seems to be the entire basis of the "Tea Party".

Can we please just ignore this woman. If she ever does get into any high level office, she will just try to profit personally from it. Just like she's doing now. She has no interest in America just our money.

It is true, this video has the look of a classic campaign commercial. I also believe Palin's thinking when she says "take back our country".
I think this ad is designed for the fall elections.

Palin is not a conservative. The real old time conservatives are intelligent thoughtful people. She is an ignorant agitator with no constructive solutions to the nations huge economic other problems.

What is an anti-abortion womans right group? You have the right to NOT have an abortion? lol.

Second what is her definition of common sense? I would really really like to know that. It sounds like a misnomer for preventing change for minorities.

If this lady even has the chance to run for office.. our country is in a more dire situation then I ever could have guessed.

Palin, you speak for yourself and the few fringe loonies who are not about women's rights. Most of us with half a brain appreciate our freedom to choose and the law that was fought hard to allow this freedom. Instead of breeding like a rabbit, what if you adopt about 4 or 5 more kids who's parents have ditched them? Put your money where your big mouth is. Just keep your extreme views out of my personal and reproductive life. Besides, you are the biggest of hypocrites; one minute spewing about the evil media yet you can't wait to get your face and awful voice in front of the camera. And, Levi's apology....total farce. He's a tool just like you.

Women better start thinking more about women's rights and less about electing Right Wing Republicans. To date, the conservative legal leaning from the majority of the high court has focused more on stomping out gun control instead of focusing on the rights of women. Ask mothers in Chicago how they feel about more gun access for their young children, while the Republicans want to stomp out access to healthcare services at reproductive clinics.

it is the fervent hope and prayer of every democrat in the US of A that Mrs Palin runs in 2012 and becomes the gop candidate. We haven't enjoyed a stomping like that since Goldwater... no wait... since Landon. I would figure we would pick up 10 senate seats and several dozen house seats
