Sotomayor in her own words

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/12/art.sotomayor.0628u.gi.jpg caption ="Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s memoir will be published by Knopf Publishing."]Washington (CNN) - Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will pen an memoir about her climb to the bench of the highest court in the country. The book, which does not yet have a title, will be published by Knopf Publishing.

The memoir will include details about Sotomayor's childhood including growing up in New York City, her relationship with her mother, and the loss of her father when she was young. The memoir will also cover her years at Princeton and Yale Law School, and her eventual legal career.

"I am honored to be working with the distinguished publishing house of Alfred A. Knopf on the publication of my memoir," Sotomayor said in a release put out by Knopf Publishing Monday.

I do hope she'll let us all know how she received preferential treatment in being admitted to law school.

Wow, she's like Obama, writing books before accomplishing too much (What has she done on the Supreme Court–besides casting an Obama vote against the second amendment?)

I don't think any Republican would read her socialistic, facist book.

This is highly inappropriate. A supreme court justice should not be writing books to become the next Obama-styled "make money from my fame" millionaire. Clearly, she does not understand that her position on the court is one of service to our country and not one in which she should personally profit. There is no other Court or decision beyond the supreme court. We expect and deserve more than a gold digger.

Lots of money can come your way, when you "arrive" in Washington.

Will the book detail what traumatic event caused her to veer off and become a liberal loon?
