Business leaders: Obama policies 'job-destroying'
New York (CNNMoney.com) - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce slammed President Obama's economic policies Wednesday, saying administration officials "took their eyes off the ball" and "neglected" to focus on job creation.
A letter posted to the business group's site and a summit with 500 business leaders were the latest moves in an ongoing battle between big business and the Obama administration.
The two are at odds over the best way to keep the recovery from slipping into a double-dip recession. The Chamber believes tax cuts are key to job creation. The Obama administration, however, has focused on stimulus and spending to create jobs.
The Chamber said in its letter that the administration "vilified industries while embarking on an ill-advised course of government expansion, major tax increases, massive deficits and job-destroying regulations."

You have to pretty much ignore anything the Chamber of Commerce says–they are the mouthpiece of Big Business.
Only the blinded, dopey and/or uninformed think that Obama has been helping the economy and job growth. At this point, the best thing he could do is stop 'leading' and golf more.
The Chamber wants to return to the very policies that got us into this mess in the first place. In communication theory, the power to define is the power to control. The Chamber wants to define this as over-regulation and job killing, while the issue is about fairness and stopping rampant greed on Wall Street and the Corporate Boardrooms who pull the strings of the Chamber. Obama is not anti-business. The Chamber is anti-fairness and pro-greed.
Bah. It took George Bush and the Republicans 8 years to destroy the economy. It will take time to recover.

The trickle down policies of old have never worked.
Mine is a family of farmers and it takes both, rain coming down (tax cuts) and the seeds that have been planted in the ground (social responsibility). You actually need more coming up than you do of what is coming down.
