Facebook apologizes for deletion of Palin post

Washington (CNN) – Social networking site Facebook issued a bit of a mea culpa Thursday after a post by former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was deleted from the massive site.
In a statement given to CNN, Facebook said a "note" by Palin about her opposition to building a mosque near New York City's Ground Zero had been deleted by an automated system.
"The note in question did not violate our content standards but was removed by an automated system," Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes said in the statement. "We're always working to improve our processes and we apologize for any inconvenience this caused."
After the original post was deleted, Palin re-posted the note Thursday morning.

Palin should delete herself from the political process. She's a stain on the conservative movement.

Of the 7 million posts that day, the Facebook "automated system" only deleted Sarah Palin's post. Anyone who buys that, I have a bridge for sale. Facebook likely deleted the post on advice from the white House - in other words, Obama was acting stupidly again. But Facebook is a liberal organization so this is what one comes to expect – predjudice and censorship

Im not for the Mosque! but I find it really hypocritical to oppose the mosque! while her salary from fix news comes from the Sheik of Saudi who happens to be a mosque goer or does he go to church at Wasilla Alaska?
Ms Pailan has had a past where she insites. I understand the emotional issues associate with the Mosque but in the past Pailan has made remarks that invoke her audience to violence. During the campagin she went to the small suburbs and started by saying this was the TRUE Americans.
Now she's one of the leaders (main draws) of the Tea Party who denies any tolerance of racism when at their rallies there is nothing but racism.
