[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/26/art.obama.0716w.gi.jpg caption ="President Obama will appear on the daytime talk show ‘The View’ Thursday."](CNN) - President Barack Obama will appear on the daytime talk show "The View" Thursday.

The interview, scheduled to be taped on Wednesday, will touch on topics including his administration's accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and family life inside the White House.

Obama last appeared on the ABC program in March 2008, while he was a U.S. senator. He also was a featured guest in November 2004, when promoting his book, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance." His wife, Michelle Obama, was a featured guest co-host in June 2008.

Obama's appearance is part of the show's continuing "Red, White & View" campaign, which features political guests and discussions. Barbara Walters, creator/executive producer and co-host of "The View" will make an in-studio appearance to speak with Obama. Walters underwent heart valve replacement surgery in May.

Here we go... Barbara Walters to Obama: Let's talk about how hansom you are instead of anything that you may find challenging.

Obama; That's fine with me. The media has prepared me well for this type of discussion. Of course you can ask me any tough questions you want because I will just blame Bush for it even if it does not apply logically.

Barbara: Well, OK. Why has TARP not done anything to help the economy or improve the employment picture in America?

    Obama: Bush did it.

    Barbara: You are sooooooo hansom.

    Obama: I know.

Another photo op and back on his own back, while people still lose their homes ( his re-financing doesn't work), still in the unemployment lines, and small business still struggle, because he can't take them over.

Of course he will go on "The View" where they will stroke his ego and not ask one question on policy. Maybe ha can pull out his favorite recipe. Maybve Joy Behar will get that tingling feeling going up her leg like Chris Matthews. Give me a break.

So undignified of a man that holds the position that Obama does but what else would you expect? Since this is going to be a friendly group they will provide him a list of questions that will be asked so that he will seem at ease when answering their puffball questions.Don't be surprised if their is a lot of talk about the family , his kids and general feelings about race relations with the Sherrod story being so in the news.Of course there will be some"i fell people hurting moments"and "you know i inherited an economy in a mess" Not a whole lot to gain by watching but a lot of viewers will.

Obama is doing such a POOR job that he can only convince those that cannot think for themselves otherwise. Therefore The View is a perfect platform!! Of course we will hear "do you want to move forward or stay with the failed policies of the past". He is correct.

Since the Democrats took power of Congress in 2006 they have consistently initiated failed policies and THEIR policies of the last 4 years have CAUSED this Great Recession. So he is absolutely correct. A vote for the Democrats will continue the failed policies that have gotten us into this mess. Time to make a change and initiate Republican ideas that, when initiated, have ALWAYS succeeded in economic growth.

Before everyone starts screaming "Yes, but when Bill Clinton was president we had tremendous economic growth and a SURPLUS!!". You are correct but ask yourself, who controlled Congress and initiated economic policies and spending? You are correct – the Republican Party. I rest my case...........

He might as well. He can't do anything else but promote himself...you know like do anything that would actually benefit the country and not himself.

I wonder if Baba Wawa will tell him this time that she doesn't remember meeting him before. And then, like last time, he can tell her he was on the show before.

Obama strategy to boost approval ratings:

    1) Get on camera
    2) Get on camera
    3) Get on camera
    4) Get on camera

Just to clarify, he's on step 2 right now.

I always knew OBOZO was a wuss, but this is getting ridiculous.

Go on a biased, safe show, where OBOZO gets to laugh and act like a school girl.

    OBOZO, worst than Jimmy Carter.....

And people though GW Bush was bad.

He needs to visit one of the "few" places where they hold a favorable opinion of him. Lets see, the view, chicago and san francisco, I guess that about sums it up. Four and no more.
