  1. A keen observer

Brewer is the poster girl for the "ditzy blonde". She seems to be a typical republican airhead that thinks the world revolves around her.

Good interview, clearly showing that Jan Brewer is not interested in resolving this issue - she wants the issue. She's living in a fact-free zone (the number of illegals is declining without the law, there is no proof that illegals are committing any more crimes on average than citizens), but that doesn't seem to bother her. Even the direct assertion that SB1070 isn't going to do anything for border security she acknowledged, until clinging to a very slim reed about no sanctuary cities reducing border crossings.

A truly bad performance by a governor more interested in her 15 minutes of fame than immigration issues.

  3. AZ will pay for its stupidity

Relentlessly stupid. Her misguided law is already hurting her state so much. She needs to just admit her mistake and let it go. Small business owners, struggling in an already difficult economy, are being forced to close their doors due to the lost customers. AZ, which already has one of the highest forclosure rates in the nation, will see more foreclosures as landlords and no longer find renters for their properties. AZ has lost over 40 meetings (along with over $12 million in revenue they would have brought) and is not getting bookings for 2011/2012. Immigrants contributed a lot to keeping AZ's economy running and AZ is starting to see the disaster Brewer has brought upon it. Rational immigration reform is needed. Stupid, discriminatory laws that do more harm than good are not.

Seems to me that President Obama has been quite busy since the day he took office. Seems to me that President Obama that most of his 'busyness' was a result of undo Republican obstructionist tackets. Yet, he still got around them, somehow. I note here that President Obama got more done in less than 2 years than most have gotten done in 4 years AND 8 years where applicable. Now, with that being said, and people still screaming jobs, JOBS, JOBS!, could be that IF the Republicans worked with the President, instead of against him at every turn, would the White House have had the time to deal with the Arizona situation? Aren't those objectionist Republicans there in Arizona? Go ahead, be 'relentless'. I think the President should concentrate on the jobs issue for all the help you have given him.

Finally, somebody with a spine that will stand up against the Progressive regime that has taken over this great nation. Gov. Brewer, hold them off until November and you'll get some help at the ballot box.

Obama and the Democrat controlled Judical System have thrown open the borders of America to any illegal who wishes to come. All an illegal needs to do is charge "Racism", and they are carte blanche Americans. So welcome drug lords, gangs, beheadings, killings of ranchers, overloaded hospital emergency wards, open the doors to our Social Security Offices, write out the checks, open the flood gates to our schools and school cafeteria's, get ready to call the bad good, and the good bad. Welcome to the United Socialist States of America, and build a throne for Barack Huesein Obama!

    politics... politics... politics...

It's amazing how desperate the repubs are when a nobody can come out and make some ridiculiously law which goes against the Constitution by the way... the very same Constitution that these nutjobs claim to abide by.... and all of a sudden they are possible candidates for the Presidency in 2012.

Arizona has lost my business, my money and most importantly my respect. I share the same sentiment as a lot of Americans and either they get rid of this baseball mit face Governor or they will keep losing money.

What our country needs is for the Federal Government to make these decisions. I am all for the decisions as long as the Pres. of the USA is respected. Brewer is getting her 15 minutes of fame by doing this. I had NO IDEA who she was and glad I did not have to listen to her "tactics" before this. Oh, I guess, now. will win her election, which is probably what all this was about.

Give Obama a chance. He has done more for border security than our last President. In fact, Bush and friends loved having the immigrants working in America for their own contracting and repairs!!!!!!!

This idiot of a woman NEVER BUCKED BUSH! And now, she grew a spine????? WHY NOW????

Look you can say you do not want the undocumented, or ILLEGALS as some of you use CAPS on, all you want. But the basic point that I'm going to make is that does senator Brewer and Superman Arpaio think that the drug cartels bring DRUGS to the US using undocumented workers? Do you think that drug cartels traffic their $300 billion business on "mules" are brewer likes to call them? The ideas or bills that these people are coming up with will do nothing to secure your borders against the drug cartels. nothing. So do not use the issue of the drug cartels to give a positive view to a bill that will do absolutely nothing to combat them. All it does is go after undocumented workers, easy targets. Arpaio? how many drug cartel members has he aprehended? I bet zero, I mean it has to be zero when all you do is catch ILLEGALS who are mowing the lawn. Fight all you want, but reality is reality.

The Federal Government has failed on border security for decades.
I applaud Arizona, it's citizens and Governor for having the courage move
to protect the border of the United States of America.

I find it unbelievable that our Federal Government, and not just the current Administration has failed to enforce our borders. They have squandered more of our tax dollars on allowing this illegal behavior to continue over the last 20 years than we now pay as interest on our deficit in a year, and that is a lot! Democrats can kiss it good bye come voting time, I'm mad at the GOP for setting the stage but I will NEVER IN MY LIFETIME VOTE FOR ANOTHER DEMOCRAT, EVER! I hope when the smoke clears in 2012 there will be some treason hearings, that is if the Mayans aren't correct....And Axlewad, the Republicans did not create the housing market mortgage bubble and the derivatives market, the dumpocrats Clinton (Greenspan), Dodd, Waters, Reins and Frank did...Bush did it isn't gonna work anymore! Oh, and on creating jobs, here is a good one, how about going to work and tell your boss you need a raise because you SAVED the company the contracts that they already have and see what he says...what a bunch of f-king numbnutts!

Go for it the judge didn't get this one right at all.

You have a right to defend your boarders if the Federal Government will not or can't do their job.

I wish she was as concerned about the Nazis & White Supremacists who helped write the law she supports...she should go after them instead…but she would lose the next election if she angered her base…

I think the ruling on SB1070 yesterday, was terrible blow to most Americans. Everbody is affected in their pocketbook because of the financial burden created by these illegas, from the building of additional schools to accommadate the children of the illegals. Also who picks up the tabs for pro bono emergency hospital visits. I can assure you it wont be the Hospitals. so with that being said, why should anyone be in opposition. My hope is that Gov Brewer and her staff will be victorious at the final outcome and that many other States will follow her example. Of course not Gov Richardson who has an interest in his Heritage and Gov Schwarzeneger who, like Pres Obama, wants to hold on to their latino vote.

We have a government that is bent on not enforcing laws in the area of illegal immigration.
Nobodies talking about the legal immigrants anymore, they just want to talk about how racist anyone is for wanting to protect our southern border. It's racist for anyone to even ask if your legally in this country or not.
I'm sorry but have we become so hyper sensitive that we can't even enforce law anymore.

  25. Gaylon Barrow WHO IS NOT ASHAMED OF THE TRUTH.

You go Woman you have it by the tail and are wringing it's neck. WE TEXANS ARE ALL FOR YOU. If it's action they want then they need to look no further. We are biting at the bit to get into the action. To hell with OBAMA and his Federal Judges. All he is interested in is votes not justice. The illegals entered this country illegally. They are not immirgrants idiot OBAMA. If they are criminals then they need to be treated as such. You want to call it racial profiling then so be it. I guess if one of them committed a rape you couldn't stop him because the law didn't see it. RIGHT YOU IDIOT.
