Palin endorses candidate in Wyoming

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/07/30/art.ritameyer.meyer.jpg caption ="Sarah Palin endorsed Rita Meyer for governor in Wyoming on Friday."](CNN) - Sarah Palin put her support behind another "Mama Grizzly" on Friday, announcing her endorsement of State Auditor Rita Meyer for governor of Wyoming.

Meyer is battling three other Republican candidates for the party's nomination. Wyoming's primaries will be held on August 17.

"Voters know that Rita has a unique blend of steel magnolia and mama grizzly," Palin wrote on her Facebook page. "Her true grit has not escaped the eye of other Americans who know that at every level of political office we all benefit with commonsense constitutional conservatives in service."

Democratic Gov. Dave Freudenthal announced in March that he would not seek a third term in office. Both the Rothenberg Political Report and the Cook Political Report, two of the top non-partisan political handicappers, indicate that Republicans have a strong likelihood of picking up the governorship in November.

At least she's making an informed endorsement based on the hour or so she spent with the candidate. LOL

Does Palin's support mean anything? Does that mean the people she supports will be quiters also?

The fate of America will truly be "grizzly" if Palin's bunch gets elected. I don't think the country can "bear" it.

So Meyer is another nutcase, then? Or is this just more nonsensical gibberish from Palin?

Two movie titles plus her current catchphrase and an attempt at Agnew-style alliterative sloganeering, in two sentences yet. I suppose I ought to be impressed.
